I arrived in Amsterdam early this morning after a long flight and a decent amount of sleep. It's unusually hot here - so I spent the day avoiding my desire to take naps by schlepping around town taking in a few sights before heading to my hotel to primp for The Next Web keynote speakers' dinner. I met with several of tomorrow's speakers and a whole host of entrepreneurs and chic tech savvy folk from the wide corners of the world. With that mix, you can imagine what ensued... good food, good wine, and a whole lot of geekery.
I talked shop with several VCs from Atlas Venture and Mangrove, learned the infrastructure of European Web 2.0 giants eBuddy and Netvibes, and chatted about journalism with the founder of Wired Magazine. All in all an impressive yet very welcoming gathering. Can you identify anyone in this photo? More to come when I blog live tomorrow!
