I've read "tips for eCommerce websites" yesterday, such a great article, thanks god I didn't miss it.
Thanks for the post, Sam. Keep it up.
Thank you for reading it Rui. I will be expanding on each topic in its own blog post going forward. It was so much to cover in one post I didn't feel I was able to get as in-depth as each topic deserved.
Also look for a special post on Link Building for eCommerce Websites coming soon.
I am really looking forward for more tips for SEO on eCommerce site.
It's so exciting to hear that you gonna even expand that article, wow, really appreciated.
Not segmenting data is a crime against humanity :-)
Another excellent article from Bill Slawski in the list, his article on page segmentation are always an interesting read.
Avinash is the man. I can't wait to hear him speak again. I knew he'd be smart and provide valuable info, but I had no idea he was going to be that funny.
Tips for eCommerce sites is a particular good post. Really hits a vibe with me having done this for 3 years now. Many of the frustrations talked about are exactly those that I still have now!
You can recommend things all day long, but internal politics always rules.
Bloody fantastic ! Made all my team laugh ! Love the quotes
Just a quick heads up, the 'google gear' link isn't going to where it should be. I'm getting directed to a '14 reasons why enterprise projects fail' page.
Thanks, Root7, just added the correct link, which should have been to this TechCrunch article:
https://www.techcrunch.com/2009/09/02/wtf-google-sells-company-merchandise-online/
Thanks! Top article by the way, I always make sure I havea read through these each week.
I have had the pleasure of listening to Avinash Kaushik speak on PPC and analytics a few times now and even when talking about segmenting data he not only makes you laugh but really drives home the point about how important data analysis is to sucessful SEM. If you haven't heard or seen him speak I highly recommend it.
Great Wrap Up.
Sam I'm lovin these weekly posts!
Our YOUmoz entries have really been rockin it lately! Hopefully people will keep keep up the great posts. :)
Also I love seeing Avinash (I say that like I know him) speak, at SES he had some of the best quotes/one liners of the whole event. :)
Yer I moaned about the delays between Youmoz posts, now I can't keep up!
Hi,Sam
This is the first time that I read your post. And I like it very much.Keep it up.I will be a frequent visitor
Qi Lu is really impressive to me. I've got my fingers crossed he and the Bing team can make great things happen. I don't think a one engine world is good for anyone - marketers, customers, users or innovators.
Rand
I thought I read somewhere maybe Twitter that you had a meeting with the Bing Team and that you were going to write a blog post about your visit. Did I miss the post or is that not going to happen.
Thank you.
We are still planning to do a Whiteboard Friday with some folks from Bing, hopefully in the next month or two. It's not scheduled yet, though, and these things can take time with big orgs like Microsoft, but definitely something to look for in the future.
