Since the launch of our beta web app, the #1 feature request from folks writing in to us has been the inclusion of exportable, PDF reports. Today, I heard from our engineering and product teams that these are complete!
You'll find CSV and PDF exports on most of the reports in the web app from here forward
The new PDF reports include:
- Rankings Overview
- Rankings History
- Crawl Diagnostic Issue Detail (the Overview tab is still in progress)
- On-Page Overview
- On-Page Report Card
Here's a sample view of a few reports from accounts I've created:
On-page report card in PDF form
Weekly rankings report in PDF form
In addition to PDF, since launch, the web app has offered CSV export for nearly all the sections included.
While we're excited to make this available, we know we still have a lot of work to do on the web app - a few crawls are still giving us trouble, we're refining some of the errors, warnings, notices and recommendations it issues and there's plenty of big features that are on their way. A big thanks to everyone who's trying out the web app today - if you have requests or issues for us, please do use the feedback tab on the side of every page (these go direct to product & engineering).
If you're curious about upcoming features, you can see more in this blog post.
p.s. One of the other features that's been heavily requested is white labeling. That's probably a few more months away, but we definitely appreciate (and are flattered by) the desire to add your own logos/branding to the reports.
I want to thank you, too for all your effort for your community!
I find it especially great of you to give us the possibility in the future to put on our own logos to the reports. That would be really really very generous and I am sure not many companies would do that. That's like you give us the possibility to take away credit of all the works you had in the past and will have in the future. Thank you again!
Thats also a good idea :)
That would indeed be a welcomed feature. I also noted the dashboard is perfectly viewable on an iPhone with the exception of some pop ups.
@algogmbh
Yea SEOMoz would be giving away credit with white labelling, but if I gave every client a report with my #1 learning tool labelled on it I would likely be out of a job soon.
Just tested PDF exports, and they look great. I'm glad to hear you're planning on a white label option, and would love to see one "master" PDF report, in which we choose which elements to include (and their order, date ranges, etc.).
This would make it so much easier to provide useful reports for clients. Keep up the good work guys!
What conquerapathy said. The ability to create a comprehensive master report that had our customised requests factored in and then have it white labeled would be totally stinkin' awesome.
I'd def like to put in my vote as well for the "master" PDF proposed!
Thanks for paying attention to the feedback and adding the PDFs...already used one in a meeting today :)
How is the white lablelling coming along, would really like to have that up in the near future!
Agreed.. Would like to see some white labeling similar to raven.. Nice to hear it was coming along back in Sep.. Its been 5 months now, any ideas on progress?
Yes white labelling would be really useful; it would be great to get the latest on this?
Good to see that you listen to the feed back.
Keep up the good work!
Fantastic! I'm excited about this. It's the little things, you know?
Would have thought export to csv would be #1 requested feature. Its some places but not all, like "too many on page links". I dont have the time to hit next through a couple hundred pages to find something relevant
Also I havent been able to find anything about how the crawl works - it appears you ignore no follow and so you have crawled 10 000 no followed links which makes the tool absolutely bugger all use to me. Nothing in the documents that Ive seen and no reply to my email.
It also crawls bits i dont care about, again making it useless. You need to obey no follows and allow us to specify directories to ignore
Maybe leave lda alone and make the tools more useful.
frustrated user (and doubly frustrated with the new comment box)

Fantastic update :)
Now I just need whitelabel, so I can start sending it around!
Many thanks for a) listening & b) responding so quickly! ..............not many would do either.
Big "Well Done" on the whole re-vamp in general - clarity is a rarity!
:0)
any news on white labeling? more than a year since this post, I guess I have to search for it or it has not been implemented yet?
Great arsenal of new features, thanks for that! I love the clean and streamlined interface. Did you design the interface yourselves?
Sounds good! I know I always convert all my client reports into .pdf as I just love the feel and look of them and think they are more professional/authoritative looking to the companies I work on behalf of. Can't wait to sign up for my SEO Membership proper at the end of the month (the exhange rate between the greenback and the South African Rand can be a killer but in the words of some over-rated celebrity, "I'm worth it!") Good job. Matt
This might be overly nit picking, and its certainly not SEO related, but the whole "Im worth it" thing is a l'oreal shampoo advert creation, which was kicked off about a decade ago in an ad starring french footballer David Ginola (at least, in the UK it was).
That advert was an overnight success mainly down to people taking the mick of his delivery of the now famous line. I beleive the current incarnation starrs Cheryl Cole (Tweedy).
cool, i really needed something to sooth the customers.
great job on that monster seo web app, thanks!
here i read the whole tools & testing the tool - nice tools
Just a brief note to thank you all for the great job.
By the way... and that's more an anecdotical curiosity, I think you were cooking up this feature yesterday (apart the cool Pac Man wall), as I saw it already in my Web App Campaigns in your morning... and that was indeed a very nice surprise for me.
Keep the good work! Ah... The feedback button here on the left is one of the most useful new SEOmoz tool!
