The holidays are long over, 2010 is well underway, we've already launched a new product, made a big announcement... and it's barely February! While our amazing development and product teams are busily building new tools as I type (and I'm not even kidding, those guys work a lot), some of us are hitting the road. For the next couple months, the SEOmoz team will be galavanting across the globe attending, speaking and even keynoting (yea.. is that a word?) at multiple Search Marketing Conferences. Essentially, in the next 45 days there's an opportunity to see one of us at a city near you... or somewhat near you... or at least in the same country... or possibly the same continent. Anyway, you get the picture.
Following is a detailed list of where you can find us over the next couple months. Being a part of such an amazing community means the world to us, so please if you're attending any of these events, stop by and say hello. We'd really love to meet you. (Unless of course you're a stalker, then make sure to look for either Sam Niccolls or Danny Dover... They'd LOVE to meet you.) Without further ado, here's the list!

Danny Dover will be at SXSW Interactive joining and talking with the literally 10,000s of other attendees. The Freemium Summit was recommended by Dharmesh Shah as a good conference for folks who have free offerings as an important part of their business plan. Sarah will be attending and it's a great opportunity to learn and network with other entrepreneurs. The craziest part is... once all these are over, we have another round starting in April. :) We hope you're planning on attending some of these events and look forward to meeting you, or speaking with you again. Stay on top of our activities by following us on Twitter, or being our fan on Facebook. Happy Conferencing!
I was going to make an obnoxious comment about how you're not going to be near Jerusalem. But you are! Cool!
You missed the whole southern hemisphere... :-( well, maybe next time.
We're heading that way in April. :)
oh really? which event / city?? :)
That's the next blog post! :) Kidding. We'll be at SMX Sydney, April 22-23.
After reading this post, my first thought is "I should invest in airline stocks" and my second is "I hope it's nice in Scotland in February."
Great roundup Jen - I'm really looking forward to meeting and seeing so many folks in the SEO world over the next few months. I'm planning to bring lots of demos of new products/software/tools with me to show off, so if you see me, be sure to ask :-)
Scotland is cold and wet all year, but it does have nice scenary :D
San Diego's cold and wet right now. Maybe it should be called the "Cold and Wet Tour".
Sadly, both SD conferences are out of my budget but I'll be looking out for Rand just in case it starts "slumming it" around my offices.
Stocholm in March could actually be worse than Scotland;)
Cold, windy, snow and rain in the same time.
Hope this event is indoor....
Advice from a coworker here in London: "Go to Scotland in the winter. It's miserable all the time, so you may as well go when it's miserable here too so you don't miss anything."
Looking forward to seeing Rand this Friday in Glasgow... and don't worry the weather hear is beautiful... well kinda.
Hi Rand
I might try my best to get along to the event in Glasgow on friday.
The sun is shinning in Scotland today, its still very cold still, but pleasant enough.
Could you give me a more detailed run down of what you will be going over on the event in glasgow, would be appreciated
thanks
I live about 2 hours south of Glasgow in the scottish borders, we had 2ft of snow recently. Wrap up warm! The city itself will be easy to get about, but its snowing a fair bit already... again. I think next week will be pretty heavy.
Hoping to get to glasgow to see you speak. Work is just so crazy right now though
Sounds like a real life "up in the air"
Chicago, please!
I just added a discount code for SearchFest in Portland.
I believe the InfusionCon link is not working, missing the 'h' in http. But, I'll still try to come see you there. ;)
Hey Jennita and fellow Mozzers, congrats on breaking the 1,000,000 links barrier :-)
I feel you Neo, I'm Houston born but I'll be leaving for the UK in time to make it to SMX London so I don't feel too left out!
Great list! Hope everyone has an amazing time in Dubai, Cairo Jerusalem and the rest. What a great list, lots of travel!
Hoping for possibly a Toronto date in the next round (less travel time than Jerusalem for myself, haha).
Glad to see Canada represented in Calgary in this round though :)
awesome we will see you guys/girls in 2 weeks at smx west!
Looks like those attending SMX Sydney in April will get to hear Gillian Muessig speak.
https://www.searchmarketingexpo.com.au/agenda/2010-speaker-list/
Thx for the post... im looking forward for the SMX in München. Anyone else there as well ?
Damn!! Would so have loved to have met you guys in London but have a whole bunch of meetings on next week! :-(
Hope all the travel goes well!
Cheers
Conrad
i dont see Houston, TX anywhere on this page :(
I hear that. Houston's only one of the fastest growing cities in the nation, topping Forbes' top 10 list for pretty much everything...And nothing comes our way! I suppose Austin's not too far...
wonder if it would be ok to ask for Randfish's autograph if I ever attended one of these events and saw him or is that frawned upon???
He'd probably be flattered to be honest. If you idolise him that much then go for it.
If you happen to own his book Art of SEO, it would make perfect sense to get it signed. :)
Gutted that I can't make it to SES London :-(
Forgot to add that I'm uber jealous that you get to go to Jerusalem. I'm mean I'm happy for you and all, just wishin' I could go...
The edit button disappeared on me. That was supposed to read "I mean I'm happy for you". Really I'm not mean at all.
Wow! Y'all are going to be racking up some serious airline miles!
So when you attend these events as speakers or should I say dignitaries (I'm talkin' to you Dover)will you also get the chance to attend seminars other than the ones you are appearing at?
It'd be a great thing as you would keep your SEO skillset nice and sharp. Which would completely eliminate the rub of y'all getting out of consulting :)
Exactly! Not only will we be speaking, but many of us are just attending to learn. :) We will definitely be doing anything we can to keep our skillsets up. Most of us have SEO in our blood.
Not coming to Chicago? I knew I should have ambushed your office when I was in Seattle.
Remember this is only the list for the next 45 days or so. :)
The Freemium Summit is not Feb 26th... I think it is-The Freemium Summit - The Business of Free Friday, March 26, 2010 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (PT)
San Francisco, CA
:)
Thanks for catching that! Not sure how I got that mixed up. :) Fixing now!
Well, it says, Feb 26th is when the ticket sale ends :). It would be easy...
Looks Good. Austin is only a highway away!!!
All of us in Europe would really LOVE if you announce those events like a month ahead because it is not every week that you come to Europe and I believe a lot of us would come...
Yes, that's for sure... and London is almost 1/2 hour flight from Madrid or Milan/Rome...
even if I sincerely hope that one day SEOmoz will make a stop also in the warm Mediterranean countries (guys! you have so many people looking and reading and working with you here that should be great and so useful to see and discuss face to face).
I'll check for London and for the second post by you Jennita.
Good suggestion thanks! We'll actually be in London several times this year for SMX and our own SEOmoz training. I'll try to post earlier next time!
Wooooh! I'm definitely going to try and make it to SES New York.
Really look forward to next big update on seomoz products
Come to Dublin, Ireland! We'd love to have you guys over!
I'm not sure if I'll get along to London on the Monday, but certainly looking forward to attending Tuesday's talk. Safe trip SEOmozzers and the best of luck with the talks Rand. They say "break a leg" in theatre circles but I'm not sure that extends to conference speakers. Maybe break a rostrum...?
They says also "merde" (shit)... that sound so... french and sophisticated, apart having the same meaning.
