Purchase the Professional's Guide to Link Building
Check out the guide today to get started on obtaining those links!
Is this guide still available? I'm a PRO member, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
no linkbait section? tsk tsk.
If anyone wants to know how to create killer linkbait just do what I do: stalk Oatmeal.
what does it mean?
Because Linkbaiting is a part of Viral Marketing it is in this guide on SEOmoz - https://www.seomoz.org/article/viral-marketing-and-linkbait-on-the-web
Thanks for posting this info. I just want to let you know that I just check out your site and I find it very interesting and informative.
I'm pro member, logged in, but still it shows its regular price tag of $39.
How can i get free access to it?
You might be clicking on the Store link. You can access it via the direct link to the guide or via the Articles section on our site.
I can't seem to find it?
Im looking forward to reading this one
I'm looking forward to the summary of this post in 140 characters. Good work SEOMoz!
Rebecca, could you point out the differences between this one and the older version, so lazy SEOs like me could skim through the document quickly? ;)
BTW, the MS Word document format returns a 404 for me. That's not a best practice imho! =)
Cheers from Brazil, Carlos Duplar
Oops, we forgot to upload the Word doc. It's fixed now.
As for differences, this one contains a lot more resources and updated information. The other one was 2 years old, so there's a lot fresher/newer material.
I might be smoking dope but the link for "The Professional's Guide to Link Building" seems to point to a blogging item.
Since you're a Pro member, you can find it under the Pro Guides.
Edit: Or...not. Getting a 404 error there.
Edit again: And now it's working there too - thanks Rebecca!
I was just pointing out the linky thing :(
They really need to upgrade our pro accounts with telepathy so we can just think and the data flows into our minds. If they increased memberships another $10 would it be in the budget?
Clearly you are smoking dope because it's pointing to the right page (after I fixed it, anyway). :P
Now that it is fixed....I am thinking I probably should have messaged you and saved my post for:
OMG 1ST POST!!!!!1111
That's what "edit" is for, make an inciteful comment first though so you get thumbed-up ...
ZOMG, taht is dah ub3r 1337!
I can't wait to check it out, thanks for sprucing it up!
Rebecca, why is the guide only $39? Is it defective? That seems really cheap. Think about it. If Forrester were selling the report to non-clients they would charge something like $700 or $800 for this, probably a lot more. Now, I've read the guide. I know it's not defective. In fact, it's dang good. So all I can surmize is that you Mozzers are nutz.
I too always think that Seomoz's guides are so cheap. But after that I say thank u to God because of its cheapness. Otherwise I couldn't buy them :)
A lot of SEOs are working for themselves (myself included) and can't afford a big corporate $700 or $800 price tag. SEOmoz has always been about providing valuable and timely information about internet marketing for the community for either free or a low cost.
Hi Rebecca,
I can't wait going to read it. But is there anything valuable missing that mentioned in the old version? I ask, because I was going to read old guide these days, to freshen my knowledge, that i have already read a year ago, still stays in my bookshelf, printed, but wondering if there is something missing in new one.
Vusal
One big difference is that the new guide contains a lot of information about various link building tools.
I can't seem to find it anywhere? Kinda getting tired of this kind of thing as a pro member.
