Scottfish was doing some searching late last night when he came across this website. Now, normally I'm not one to out other's spam pages - it's just wrong somehow!
I'll make an exception in this case though...
The site is your standard spam page with lots of ads up top. What is more amusing is the bottom of the page:
Looks pretty standard still - right? How about this?
For some reason that just cracked me up...They never changed the default location for their files before they uploaded...
Not only that but this crap ranked!!!
Maybe there is hope left for the spammers in the world eh?

If you're going to spam, a bit of quality control would be nice...

I can't believe it, traffic equalizer still works!
for BH it is all about automation and speeding up the process of building up these sites. One day these Scraper building newbies will understand that grey hat is more suitable long term, than bh hat sites.
But then there are some....
Spam is going to become increasingly more complicated. The number of ugly looking link farmy pages will decrease even more this year. In the future very sophisticated programs will produce human readable auto sites that semi-intelligently combine and sort information for a site that has no spam signature and potentially even reads with a unique human voice. If you've taken a look at any of the grammar engines that can write crap random essays, they're very impressive. Just a few more years and some black hat ingenuity and you'll have entire sites with unique content and real information that were auto generated.
I don't know, I'm not a black hat. Maybe it's already here. Anyone have any links?
"I'm not one to out other's spam pages - it's just wrong somehow!"
That objection never made sense to me. I mean c'mon, it's not like they're the dead sea scrolls.
Yes, hope... but what's this say for the rest of us?
It's exactly this kind of junk that makes you wonder... either good seo techniques are only so useful or (and hopefully more on spot) for all that the SEs claim to have configured their algos to penalize the spammers and reward those creating good, content rich sites, they're more talk than walk.
lol... broken here too
Ummm...hmmm...Randfish...HELP! :P
Done and done :) Just FYI - 490 pixel limit on width for images or embeds.
You da man. If there's a limit, why not make the app cut it off but warn ya? :P

New version we'll have that for sure.
This post breaks your site in IE6 (yeah, I know - IE6). The image is too wide for its container. :D
