I've been jealous of Danny Sullivan in the past, but never as much as I was today when I saw this:
Now that's a home office setup. It may not look fantastic, but that three monitor layout with three graphics cards all with their own taskbars would make my online research and email correspondence a heck of a lot easier. I'm especially thinking of those times when I need to put data into an excel spreadsheet, have two blogs that I'm reading open, my email (with three unfinished drafts) and Dreamweaver running to change the CSS spacing on an article.
How much would a system like this actually cost? Something tells me it's not that expensive.
My ideal:

Imagine how many ssh terms I could have running. :D
Quite obviously that pic can't be real and is a photoshop markup.
Why? Who has a keyboard that clean and that desk looks like it's never been used!!!
G-Man
Great to see you G-Man!
Is that a CD by DeForest Kelly - aka, Doctor McCoy in Star Trek - on the bottom left?
Now *that's* something to be jealous about - I have albums by Shatner and Nimoy, but didn't realise Kelly had one, too. :)
Ha - I was going to point out shoemoney's set up, but graywolf beat me to it!
Dude, is there something wrong with that shoemoney fellah? He is hairless and I bet their is not a speck of dust in that room. LOL! :)
I have two set-ups at home...
A) One computer with two 21" flat panel monitors. Use this for site building, email and most biz tasks.
B) Two computers through one 21" monitor that toggles back and forth between the two computers with a keystroke. I use this for working on very large graphics files, running big logs and backing up all sites and drives. One computer has two removable drives that I use for backup and swap them every few weeks with a drive in another office for off-site backup.
I like Danny's three monitor set-up. But if you have two 21" monitors running at high resolution you can have eight windows open and visible without the really long mouse strokes to move from monitor 1 to monitor 3. But if I had his set-up I could run 12 windows at a time... hmmmmm...
I want one of these: https://www.mypce.com
I'm digging shoemoney's set up

the second screen from the left is actually a TV mounted across the room

that PCE one is cool but I could also see it acting as a babe repellent :-)
Assuming you have a decent computer you would only need a triplehead videocard (ie. Matrox Parhelia, $300,-), 3 TFT monitors (Dell 19" $250,- each), a wallmount ( $100,-) and ultramon software (39,95).
