After five years at Moz, I’ve found that I work with some of the most creative and talented people I’ve ever met. When it came time to brainstorm ideas for an April Fools video this year, rather than tricking people like every other company does, we decided instead to showcase a few of the talented folks around the Mozplex. Alongside Kristina Keyser, we shot and edited this video so you can see what makes us Mozzers tick when we aren’t building sweet SEO software.

Well I for one have quite a few collecting stamps, watching live sports on TV, reading books, and lately a very serious hobby which has the potential to grow out of being just a hobby - Photography. One of my photos on the Goa Carnival has got published in Expedia, a leading travel website
That's awesome to hear about your photo getting published! I love photography as well.
Thanks for sharing, Nick. These was a great alternative to an April Fool. :-)
I also love photography.
You can see my photography here: I took these pics when I was in my village. Have look: https://yourstory.com/read/c8559434d0-natural-beauty-of-a-small-village-at-jaunpur-city-up-
Missed this while I was on vacation -- Love learning more about people's passion projects. It inspires me to carve out the time to practice the things I've always wanted to try.
So, some folks know that I just finished the first draft of my first novel (a dystopian comedy) -- hoping to self-publish later this year, but don't worry, I'll mention it 5,000 times on Twitter when I do :)
I can't wait to read this thing. :)
Holy crap our staff is SO STINKIN TALENTED!!!!
This video is amazing and makes me want to get to know each and every one of these Mozzers way better. Thank you so much for sharing & keep up the badass hobbies my friends!
PS. Janisha, you're a MF LEGEND!!!! HAHAHA love you!!!
Great idea! The usual april fools jokes never fool anyone but they do show a more "human" side of a company but this is even better. Fun to read about the projects people do outside of work hours.
That being said does anyone know when the Moz Reader is coming out? It's been almost 4 years!
Haha. I know, we really gotta get on that.
I love this! So much talent! And Abe, that's one of the best things I have seen! Awesome!
Well thanks!!!! I have a blast with this kind of thing, glad ya like
I love this, Nick
Congrats on your new movie man! I'll have Prime it up and check it out soon
Wow, thanks dude! Hope you enjoy it. :)
That`s cool Nick. I am an extroverted introvert and have some mind relaxing hobbies too. Reading non-fiction books, swimming, mountain climbing (love it truly), dancing, and, watching inspiring people like your team comes in my everyday to-do list and comfort zone. People do have really amazing interests in their life and it can make them stand out from the herd.
Thanks Patrick! I also love climbing. I mostly do indoor bouldering though. :) Not at the mountain level quite yet (hopefully someday). Let us know what you do to push your comfort zone next. I think I'm going to try martial arts to do that.
Thanks for the video,Nick!! My hobby's more like Lucas, hitting the gym is fun on most occasions!!
It's a good and healthy hobby to have. Not only do you get SWOLE you also cut through stress easier.
I love reading about people's passions. I love to create -- sewing, knitting, beading, quilting . . . and have a day job managing a recipe website. And, a side job building create whimsy, a community for people who have a passion for making and sharing their hobby, art and craft projects.
That's great. I hadn't heard of it. A very relevant side project for this post too. :)
Thanks, Nick!
I know a CEO who would close his door for a few minutes each day and knit for stress relief. Maybe I should take that up? hmmm
Love the banjo too!
You should! I like to doodled or color sometimes for stress. :)
*twang, twang, twang*
Nope. Still not in tune. Oh well...
*rips a mad solo*
Are you going to submit anything for #playmusicontheporch day?
