I am new to SEOmoz and I too was a little concerned over the price of these DVD sets. However, I just thought SEOmoz is fab now, surely it's videos will be too - so I ordered both the sets.
Today came the knock on the door with my FedEx parcel from the US (I live in the UK). I popped the first DVD from the first series in and OH MY GOODNESS, I was hooked.
Right away there was so much great info that I haven't seen anywhere else before. I am not completely new to SEO but there was so many great tips n tricks - my To Do list is huge already and I haven't even finished series 1 set yet!!

I am new to SEOmoz and have found that the team and membership community is hands down top notch. I have purchased a PRO membership and been reading through artilces and blog posts day and night. Over this time I have learned a great deal and have already released my first to SEO campaigns - putting techniques I have already learned to use and alreadt seeing results.
When I saw the realease of this DVD series I became very excited, but then reality sank in - the price. No disrespect to the team or organization - I have already grown to love you guys, but I am a freelance web developer and have very limited resources. I thought I was already getting the leading edge information available through this website and being a PRO member.
1. Can a few members of the community give a testimonial(s) about what they learned from DVD set 1?
2. What is the biggest value added to my knowledge base as a new SEO (wanna-be) specialist?
3. Would it be possible to see a blog that "leaks" one or a few techniques found in the DVD series?
Again, thank you for your time consideration and any responses. By no way do I mean to de-value the information found in this DVD series - I have grown to love the SEOmoz team and it's members. This is just a comment from a freelance web developer that wants to learn is much as possible on a very limited budget. For a little extra information you won't see there, I can tell you this: the satisfaction rate of people attending our live events (where we film these) averages over 95%.
As for the DVDs themselves, this is now our fourth DVD series we've released. To date, we've sold-out every previous run we've produced and never had a single return due to someone being dissatisfied with the content.

Also,I am looking for a specific hool line and sinker to jump and make the purchase. I can not be the only SEO newbie that is in this same position which is, "We want to know it all, but might need a little extra incentive" - I am having a hard time differentiating the material covered on DVD 1 and DVD 2, what was left out?
if DVD1 sales out is DVD2 not going to be understood?

I want to thank you guys for making this available, I think I watched the first four discs as soon as I received it! I hope you guys consider using USPS first class instead of FedEx (or UPS) next time, for shipments to Canada, we have to pay alot of unneccessary fees and added taxes which we wouldn't if it came in by USPS/Canada Post.
Yes, I agree with this. FedEx charged me over US$200 to "redeem" my DVDs. This hidden cost is killing, no brainer. I am not quite sure if it's anything to do with Fedex or the Government (they called it Custom), but seems they are both involved. I am still trying to deal with them for mercy as they are holding my stuff. Hope this can be resolved ASAP. If it is possible to resend my package using another provider, I'll call FedEd and ask to return the package to you. I don't have this bad experince with POS Indonesia. They are better, cheaper, faster.
I want to revise my statement above. There is misscommunication between the Shipper and Custom that cause tax overcharge. SEOmoz, FedEx and the Shipper are taking care of this issue so I can get my package delivered. I apology to FedEx and the Custom for my comment above. Admin, please remove my comments if posssible. Thank you.

I am Very confuse when Moz Moz SEO training was amazing and making profit from it, Why you remove it . So is this still available in paid version. I this I am reading this article in 2016 and they record this training series in around 2009 and now SEO change around 60-70% from that date. I attended the Pro Trainining seminars in London, so I know the value of that training. Could you please clarify what the extra content is addition to the material filmed to warrant the sequel?
Volume 2 (above) was filmed at the London event. Volume 1 (in the bundle, released in November) was filmed at the Seattle event in August.
