Snap.com, whose founder also was responsible for the creation of Overture and Picassa has built a robust and very impressive series of tools based on the queries that are entered at their engine each month. Since Snap.com receives so few searches at the current time, the features are much more useful for large, popular keywords than for smaller, more specific ones. The promise of the data, however and the method for listing and showing information many search engines consider highly classified with such transparency is a huge step forward.
In Snap.com's interface, this information is also easily scrapable, exportable and usable, making for a very happy webmaster community. I believe Snap.com is doing the right thing here and will probably find themselves with thousands of links and probably a good deal more traffic over the next few months. The next important step for them to take would be to integrate their interface and technology with a search engine that has a more massive and timely database of what searchers are looking for. I wouldn't look too far down the line before we see Snap.com being gobbled up by one of the larger players in the market (my guess would be AskJeeves).
Addendum: See also Snap's compendium of top searches, their blog and a top keywords page that can show you a lot more detailed information - including which searches are more likely to result in a click-through (amazing, amazing stuff).
