As you can probably tell from the slight cosmetic changes to SEOmoz's blog section, we're now a full-featured community. There's a list of our current members (already at 2000+ thanks to the tools) and a section in your membership profile where you can add your site (and get a nice link). We also allow for avatars in the blog comments and are in the process of letting users submit their own entries to the blog.
I want to thank everyone who's made this possible by building up SEOmoz to the size that it is now. I'm looking forward to having more interaction with members here and adding more and more features over the next few months. If you do have a specific features request, please post a comment in this thread.
BTW. Randfish, are You going to write SES coverage ?
Very cool Rand. Congrats on the new layout and your success. I know you've worked hard for it. Creating good content is tough!
keep up the good work, rand. the effort you expend to educate others on the science behind search is very valuable, and much appreciated.
OK, so Mick, we're supposedly auto-parsing links, but apparently it's not quite working yet. It will soon, however. Greg - I'm thrilled to have you as part of the community and I look forward to getting your comments on posts in the future. As for forums... I've decided against that as the time and effort required simply isn't there. However, this system will be more and more forum-like as we add features, Kalius. I hope to see you around more.
I'm glad that you've decided to allow comments. I rarely read any SEO forums and almost never bother reading other SEO related blogs but I enjoy your write ups and will continue to make comments often.
sweet comments great job randfish
