We're marketers. We know from firsthand experience that there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything that needs to get done. And that's even more true once you commit to leveling up and learning new skills.
The learning curve for developing digital marketing skills can be steep, and staying informed as things evolve and change (thanks, Google) can feel like a full-time job. Our Moz Training has classes to help accelerate the learning process, but as startup folks ourselves, we understand the importance of multitasking.
Learn SEO on the go
We're thrilled to introduce MozPod, an SEO podcast focused on sharing lessons from digital marketing experts. Episodes are led by instructors from Moz Academy and we discuss a wide variety of digital marketing concepts, from common terminology to recent changes and best practices.

I am really looking forward to the Science of Crawling and Indexing. I love digging deep into data and statistics.
Neil is the man. Hope you enjoy our discussion.
Wow.. Simply awesome. It's a free SEO podcast, impressive and helpful too for my multitasking SEO work. For page rank and link building analysis, it's great. Need to involve more topics.
Good job Brian. Thanks.
Thanks Kuldeep! This is just the first batch. We have others coming that cover a range of topics. One thing I appreciate from the conversations is hearing how others describe complex concepts and removing some of the mythology of SEO. It is easy to just repeat things but getting to speak with / listen to experts is a great way to cut past the noise. Thanks for listening!
I love the idea. Listening to the first podcast. Thank you very much
When it comes to podcasts, listening to real world examples is what I enjoy most...
I'd love to hear about successes, failures (learning the hard way), advice on planning, execution and conclusions of marketing strategies drawn from real world examples.
That said, here are a couple of suggested topics I'd like to hear more about (broad or focused)...
1) Best practices for multi-location businesses as it relates to SEO/web development strategy, GMB listings, etc.
2) Anything about consumer behavior strategy.
Finally, thanks to Moz and all the contributors for always providing great content and resources.
You're right, real world examples are the best. Humans learn better by showing what not to do than what to do.
Any chance for some Android love?
Hey! Does this link work for you? This is another place to hear the podcast: https://mozpod.libsyn.com/
Thanks Brian, no doubt that there aren’t enough hours in the day.
I'll sure give it a try, but the first thing that came to mind is that I wish the blog posts would be available as audio as well. Every week I miss a post or two simply because there isn't enough time, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Just an idea.
Great idea and thanks for listening. If you have any thoughts on relevant topics you'd like to hear covered in the podcast, please feel free to jot them down in the comments here or send them to [email protected]
Hi Igal,
I love listening to articles, so I'm pumped for MozPod!
I also use Text-to Speech to listen to articles either through Chrome apps or Pocket - it's great if you don't mind robot voices :]
Nice guys! Very cool! Going to give this a listen now - Still waiting on the Moz Blog App ;)
Thanks Paul! Appreciate the comment and the listen. More episodes coming. Planning on getting one out a week for the near future. If you have any topic ideas, please leave them in the comments. Would love to cater to the audience.
So useful!! I listen webinars and podcasts as often as I can as, and learning SEO at this level is definitely going to be key to me.
Thank you guys.
That's really cool and great to get another kind of great stuffs here at MOZ. Appreciating the initiative and loving the podcast's. Waiting for the next one, hopefully of Rand.
Great news! Surprisingly, now I just regret that my commutes are so short :)
Thanks Angel! Glad you find the information valuable.
Nice, downloading podcast straight away!
Great Initiative....Thanks for the Podcasts!
Excellent news, I enjoy listening to podcasts while I work. Thanks for bringing us this... Will the Moz community get the opportunity to put forward ideas for up coming episodes?
Thanks Tim!
Yes! If you have an idea for a podcast, just submit to the "Be on MozPod" form at the bottom of the article. Or you can shoot a note over to [email protected].
Main goal for now is to provide another opportunity for people, both SEOs and folks just trying to learn, to have practical information delivered in an easily consumable way. As you'll find when I'm hosting the pod, I ask a lot of basic questions because sometimes those are where myths are most prevalent. Would love to have community support in identifying what those myths and questions are.
Thanks again for the comment!
Really enjoyed Jacobs podcast on Conflation (new term for me) & Business Listings. Keeping up with all the wrong listings because of this conflation important and tedious. What i think is a crucial observation on Jacobs part is the frustration of BoFu users being directed to wrong addresses, phone numbers or other information's.
So awesome and so needed!! I am a huge podcast listener and will definitely add this to the list. Just a note that it is also available on Stitcher for those who choose to listen that way.
Thanks for the Podcasts! I loved the series on The Science of Crawling and Indexing.
Awesome! Thanks for listening.
I have to do a longer car drive today...I will give it a try. I am basically most interested in hands on CRO topics, i.e. a how to on improve conversion rate on a given landing page.
Great insight, Cesare! CRO is definitely a huge and interesting topic. There is a ton of great talent within Moz and amongst the broader community of Moz fans. If you know of anyone you think would make a great resource (for CRO or any topic), please forward them the MozPod guest form: https://goo.gl/forms/8Wu6pSYXSqdLMhEE2
Enjoyed these first few podcasts. A lot of info packed in to them. Look forward to future ones.
I am pumped for this. I haven't been able to find a good SEO podcast for my morning commute. I will definitely be checking this out soon.
I'd be interested in hearing about other people's processes that have helped them scale their efforts. Any time I can learn a new process and incorporate it into my workflow my results and productivity go up.
Thanks for the ideas and I agree. I love practical and scalable processes. Can't wait to learn more about those from our guests as well!
Hope you enjoy the episodes.
Great news. We can now listen at our convenience what the knowledgeable guys and gals at Moz have to say.
That said , I think that adding a transcript of the podcast or at least a summary would be nice
I always enjoy podcasts and Moz is great at making educational content. One topic I want to see is "marketing automation" - I've seen few resources out there that are worth mentioning. Would be great to get an idea about how to integrate it our overall SEO KPIs.
Thanks Erick. Appreciate the insight. When you find articles you think are valuable, I encourage you to ask the author to submit their idea to the MozPod guest form. We can then work on getting them in as a guest to elaborate on their article topic. Form is here: https://goo.gl/forms/8Wu6pSYXSqdLMhEE2
Fantastic article. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Great! Let's start with the first one now :)
