MOMA's Safe Exhibit Website

Here's a virtual lesson in how to make one of the best industrial design exhibits into one of the worst websites I've ever tried to use. The MOMA (New York City's Museum of Modern Art) has an exhibit on industrial, medical and civil design that has helped to improve safety around the world. The exhibit itself (according to my grandparents who are in town for the holiday weekend) was exceptional, and indeed, some of the pieces themselves are terrific. But, I can't point to them because the site is all in Flash. Worse still, it's totally unusable Flash, with no support for the back button, or human eyes for that matter.

Take a look and see how even the best content can be destroyed by getting some "ordinary kids" (the designers) to do the work...
