This morning I'm guest blogging for Manoj Jasra with an entertaining little piece called Push Marketing and Search Marketing - Two Great Tastes that Don't Taste Great Together. With a bit of luck, I'll be able to put in another entry by midday, but mostly I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get some high quality job applicants during today's interviews.
p.s. For more good reading, check out some of Manoj's other guest bloggers from this week, including Jennifer Laycock on Viral Marketing and Gord Hotchkiss on the Death of SEM.
Great Friday Post. Hits close to my heart. Posted my comments over there regarding my personal experiences with this.
Manoj, Please keep us posted about how this impacts your traffic and how many visitors come back. Thanks
Thanks for the plug Rand. This is the first time I have ever have had Guest Bloggers in the short history of Web Analytics World (https://manojjasra.blogspot.com) The idea came to me after I read Rand's post on 21 Tactics to increase blog Traffic. This week's traffic has been 3X more than previous weeks.
Having guest bloggers who wrote about content appealing to SEM users really helped.
How much traffic increase (%) do you see when you guest blog? How long did this all take to arrange? Does Manoj do this on a regular basis?
Rand,
Dont know how I missed Manoj's blog. Some spiffy articles on there. Should make for some good Friday reading.
Thanks!
Daniel
