I know, I promised a Linkscape update by last week. And I missed it. But there's an update today! Do you forgive me? No? Not enough? Well how about doubling the volume of data available in our free API? You might have gotten a totally awesome email last week announcing that the free SEOmoz API is now serving up to 1,000 links. This email was so awesome I just had to share it (nice work Scott!)
- Up to 1,000 links to a page, subdomain or root domain (sorted by Page Authority of the linking page)
- Anchor text for those 1,000
- Aggregate anchor text counts across all links in our index
- HTTP status code
- nofollow indicators
- Plenty of metrics for data junkies
We've got a community submissions page on our wiki, and we love to share neat apps. So if you build something on our API, send it our way and we'll make sure the community hears about it.
Now I am not afraid of losing Yahoo links.
That's exactly the response I was hoping for :)
Thinking that's what this tool was made for, as replacement (and huge improvement on) Yahoo Site Explorer, even down to the similar name :P
Nice! i love to use the API :)
Sounds Good. Nick can we get the Moz toolbar updated? Not working in Firefox 3.6. Also any news of the authority metrics being added?
I'll get the team on all of those things pronto. I think you'll be pleased with what we're cooking.
Actually the current toolbar does work in 3.6, it should have automatically updated. But if it didn't, you may just need to uninstall and reinstall. But... if you wait just a couple days, we have an all new toolbar coming out. :D
I'm eagerly awaiting the toolbar update gang. Can't wait to see what you've done to it.
Ok, I'll just hold tight...
Having trouble getting the queries to work, copy exactly from samples and put in own data but nada
documentation is for rocket scientists
Sorry about that. If you post to the forum (groups.google.com/group/seomoz-api) we can get you squared away. If you prefer you could also contact the support alias api [at] seomoz [dot] org
Thanks for your help with the troubleshoot Nick... and for the update- even if it is a few days late :)
Great job!
We are using your API in our newest app. We will contribute with your Sample Code are soon. Thanks for this amazing API!
Glad to help Fábio. Thanks for the support!
Hells to the yes! :P
Thanks for the plug to SEO Site Tools...if you havent check it out you really should. it has tons of external data as well as on-page analysis and even pulls all social media reations from digg, facebook, reddit, and now stumbleupon. it can even detect adwords, wordpress, quanticast and like 40 other CMS and web frameworks.
its been just a couple weeks and has ~5408 users and growing every day... just got off phone and we may even have ability to process heatmaps from it soon. cross your fingers :)
im thinking of adding more linkscape data to the tool (links and anchor text) but i have to see where i can fit it in...
all the attention its got is because of all yalls help so thanks!
