You know all those times you've had to save a search on Twitter so you can keep up with (yet another) search conference you couldn't afford attending? Well, no more, my friends! We have partnered with some premier search and social conferences and compiled over a dozen full-conference passes to give away! That's over
$10,000 worth of conference tickets!
Here at the MozPlex we know how valuable these shows can be. Many of us first fell in love with this industry by attending a show, expanding our search marketing brain, and shaking hands with fellow interweb geeks. To help you get to a premier show, even when travel budgets are tight, we have launched the first ever "Conference Crasher Giveaway!"
So how do you win?
It's simple! Sign up for a 30-day free trial of SEOmoz PRO and you are automatically entered to win. Easy smeasy huh? There is no requirement to purchase PRO after your 30-day free trial, so get on in there and take a look.
Wait, what if you are already a PRO member?
Oh, don't you worry your pretty robot loving little self! If you are already a PRO member or you are currently taking a free trial as June 15th (yesterday) you are automatically entered to win as well. You don't have to do a thing, except maybe plan out what you would bring if you get chosen
But how long do I have to enter?
We are giving you two full weeks to sign up for a free trial. We will be closing the giveaway on June 30th at 11:59 PST.
Okay, now that the big questions are out of the way, let's talk about the goods! Wondering what shows you could win a ticket to? Well, we are super fortunate to be working with the following shows: SES San Francisco, Social Media Summit, Distilled London, Wappow Search and Social Hawaii!, SearchExchange and ConversionCon East. We have a ticket for each show to give to an existing PRO member, and a second ticket for each show to give out to a new free trial taker!
As if that wasn't enough, we are throwing in two tickets to our own conference this July -- MozCon (check out the full agenda). We are super stoked for this three-day show, which will include advanced training, tactics, and a whole lot of social fun (word on the street is this party is going to be a good one). You can read more about each show below.
So what are you waiting for? If you are tired of justifying to your boss why you should get some budget for conferences, this giveaway just made it a whole lot easier to further your SEO and social knowledge as well as meet industry peeps. Have questions? You can check our giveaway page for all the fancy fine print, or simply email us at [email protected].
Conference Show Details - We are giving away two tickets to each show!

A huge thanks to these shows for partnership in the giveaway. SEOmoz will have some Mozzers at each of the shows listed above, so even if you don't win but end up attending, be sure to say hello!
The winners are going to be happy as they would have won the National Lottery :)
As happens to me sometime, I did not read the "conditions" part of the contest. And did not remember that was what happened too in a Past "IPad" contest here.
Ok... That means that, if I win a ticket, I will have to be excluded because not eligible due the legislation.
For those ones living outside of the USA, and are legally allowed to compete, but cannot afford the travel costs (I believe the majority), try at last to take some advantage from your fortune; for instance creating your own contest online. You won't go, but you could gain at least some good buzz effect for your site.
Finally, it would be fair if Seomoz could invent something for all those who are systematically cut from all these kind of contests. Not talking about me, but thinking to all the Italian, Spanish and other excluded countries friends who are Mozzers in any of their cells and get reasonably angry by the forced exclusion, even though it is not a Seomoz will.
Post Scriptum: I am glad I decided to partecipate to the MozCation contest and glad my Spanish candidation got to win, so that SEOmoz will come here. But I believe that the impact it had overseas can teach few things to SEOmoz about its audience :)
For us Europeans there is still the opportunity to win a ticket for the Distilled conference! You can go to London with the cheaper airlines from almost any country in Europe. So the traveling costs will be very manageable.
Mmm... not so true. If you are resident in UK, France, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Greece, Portugal and Switzerland you are eligible to partecipate and win the ProSEO Distilled Training Days or any other ticket.
But if you are
... no.
p.s.: but I will go to ProSEO anyway :)
You are right, I missed that part. I'm from the Netherlands so I won't be able to participate.
Good luck everyone in the contest.
I agree. If I win, I am gonna give it away.
Oh Gianluca we heard you loud and clear for Mozcation. I should say you and the whole international community. Your voice was very strong, and I love it!
great promotion idea :) Goes to show why SEOmoz keeps gaining in popularity...
Since the riots last night in Vancouver we are without power and SEO. Our Igloos are melting. It would be a nice thing to get away soon and possibly stay and work in the US illegally. I could probably get one of the SEO jobs even the Mexicans won't take. I better brush up on my spanish.
Thanks Joanna and team! I love conferences but can't rekon spending to go to them all, pehaps my luck will strike!
Oh how I would love to win... Hawaii or New York sessions --- got my fingers crossed and can't wait for the draw date :-) I'm usually kind of lucky with these types of things; I got a good felling anyways.
great.. any chance of persons outside the US> ?
Thats what is a major concern. Tragically, people outside US are somewhat alienated when it comes to such conferences. Its a pity when you have the highest growth rates outside US. Thats where the potential market is...
Yes! Citizens of other countries are eligible, but unfortunately due to legal limitations, only in these areas (pulled from the official contest rules):
Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the following regions: U.S., Canada (excluding Quebec), Brazil, Argentina, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, India and New Zealand, who are of the age of majority in their state/province/country of residence at date of entry.
Lauren,
I know that I am eligible for the contest. SEOMOZ and folks at mozcon have been kind enough on that front. I am speaking about holding conferences in other parts of the world like Asia where there is an enormous opportunity of growth.
I think Gillian (SEOmom) would know for sure since she had attended Click Asia Summit in Mumbai, India.
I heard her expressing that she sees a lot of potential here in Asian markets.
We hear you! That is a main reason we opened MozCation so people can nominate their home city and we bring the (psuedo) conference to you. We can atleast promise you some networking, SEO fun, and some Mozzers :) But i def agree, there aren't as many international conferences as I'd like to see either, hopefully that will change as more cities grow a stronger internet marketing base :)
Santa does exist!!!! And his name is Roger!!!
I just had a visual of Roger in a Santa suit & made it smile so thank you for that :)
Pumped and fingers crossed! Hoping to win. Thank you so much!
I read that as "fist pumped the air" and fingers crossed :) Which was prety great as well! Glad you like giveaway! I'm excited to see who wins :)
Awesome! Thank you for the chance to win!
This is pretty awesome for affiliates too :)
Fingers crossed for MozCon tix!!
My birthday is July 25th, so it could be extra special. Am I the biggest geek in the world if I'd rather be at an SEO conference on my bday than anything else?
i dont about geek, you definitely would make a great businessmen who never want to lose opportunity to grow and be better (even at the cost of not attending own birthday) :P
Great PROMO idea from SEOMoz!
Thanks SEOMoz. If SEO Ohio wins we will definitely be in attendance. See you at MOZCon for sure and with lady luck on our side, SES in CA!
Do you let people choose? It looks amazing but unless I win the lottery at the same time I can only go to the London one :)
We're going to do our best! We're giving the first winners their first choice, and so on and so forth. Hopefully there will be a better chance of people getting their choice at that point. :)
It’s a massive deal for any SEO guy. Dotcompals, Saibose, IKT & me also have very critical problem to attend this seminars. It’s huge lottery for any SEO guy & very expensive way to gain SEO knowledge.
If any website will provide live stream or videos of these seminars with paid version so, it will rock. That’s for sure. Because, there are many SEO guys are eager to know as well as attend this kind of seminars at any cost.
Anand,
I agree that a webcast would be awesome. Better, if it was live, but sadly doesnt happen. On conferences like SES, PubCon, SMX people are there who do text liveblogging, but they do solo.
You can follow @rustybrick. He does the job solo...so cant cover all parallel tracks.
But, I completely agree to the need of such a website where people can view, download videos and stuff from the conferences.
Freaking awesome! I've already had my eye on Conversion Conference in NYC so fingers crossed :)
Sweet deal! Already going to MozCon, but would love to pick up the others as well. Thanks for putting this out there!!
Oh, I'm crossing my fingers now! Wasn't in the budget for this year but I would love to go. Thanks guys!
Sweet cool prizes Now i just need to win then justify a overseas plane ticket with expenses ;)
G.R.E.A.T - I just have to relax, sit back and wait for the jackpot ;-)
Well, a good remarketing and engagement post. The problem is that folks would have a hard time arranging for flights and accomodation to these places if they are outside US.
For people in US, awesome proposition.
Must...Win..Tickets..Great initiative guys
agree with anand, and one more thing , even if money is not the problem, but going overseas and leave your company for 1~2 weeks is totally discouraging :(( , if i can have one wish, a webcast , live stream or even the pre-compiled offline video that is sold in dvd for all of these brilliant seminar....
You should definitely check out your favorite conferences' websites! (Click on the "Learn more" link next to each conference listed above.) Some of them do offer streaming options.
Not talking about winning, but i just want to ask 1 question, all of this conferences, will it be available in webcast or video later on?
because it is impossible for me to go there, the travel expenses is too much (i am from indonesia)
Most conference vidoes or atleast livecast/presentations are available online. I get most of them. I am from India, so share a similar dilemma.
This competition blows.
