Rave Reviews About Last Year's Seminar
An excellent high level seminar with substantial advanced tactics. Having attended numerous SEO conferences, this had a much greater ROI.
-Greg Patterson, President, Mojo Juice Inc.
Chock full of detailed strategies, theories and practical explanations of very advanced search optimization methodologies. It was worth every penny (and more, but don't tell Rand I said so!).-Marty Martin, Director of Web Strategies, Leisure Publishing Co.
Better than any other SEO conference I've attended and the price was less.
-Mike Perez, President, High Ranking Websites, Inc.
Top 5 Reasons You CANNOT MISS OUT:
- We’ll be presenting never before seen data from SEOmoz’s internal SERPs analysis projects. If you liked the material from my SMX Advanced presentation, you’ll love this.
- The founder of Hubspot, Dharmesh Shah, will speak about how to build a great startup. If you’ve never seen Dharmesh present before, you’re in for an incredible treat.
- Ben Jesson’s Conversion rate optimization tips session will bring you more ROI than you can imagine. Ben & his company, Conversion Rate Experts, have helped SEOmoz add more than $1 million to our bottom line this year just from tweaks and tuneups to our landing pages and marketing messages – they’re the best in the business.
- It costs only $899 ($599 for PRO Members) to attend! That’s 2-3X less expensive than other shows, and we guarantee you’re going to walk away with an incredible amount of knowledge and phenomenal networking opportunities.
- After hours events are built in! Both Monday and Tuesday night will feature classic SEOmoz networking events with food, drinks, bowling, pool tables and more.
There are only 220 seats available this year and in 2008, we practically sold out in just 72 hours so don’t miss out – Sign Up Now.
But wait! There’s more! Due to the amazing success of our training seminars, we’ll be holding a second event on October 19th and 20th in London, UK, in partnership with the folks from Distilled. Moz colleague and Rand's slidedeck archnemesis, Will Critchlow, has helped craft an incredible lineup of speakers and sessions (and they're fighting a re-match of their infamous Presentation Face-Off from SMX London). If you are based in the UK or Europe (or anywhere else around the world, and simply have a penchant for airplane food), don’t miss out on our "Across the Bloody Pond" Edition of the PRO Training Series.Remember: these seminars sell out every year so reserve your seat to the Seattle or London edition of the 2009 PRO Training Series: Tips, Tricks & Tactics while they're still available!
Special DVD Pre-Order Offer
When you register for either seminar you'll get a special offer to Pre-Order the DVD version of the SEOmoz PRO Training Series: Tips, Tricks & Tools at a ridiculously low attendees-only price. Watch for your offer during checkout.
Can't make it to either seminar? We still love you. Even though you won't get all of the awesome networking, parties and opportunities to ask the experts your specific questions, we'll still let you Pre-Order the DVD version at an incredible early bird price! For just $249 ($149 for PRO Members), that's 50% off the retail price, you'll reserve your copy of the DVD edition of the PRO Training Series: Tips, Tricks & Tools at the lowest possible price and guarantee the earliest delivery as soon as it's available (early November estimate)
I'm booked in for the London show.
I've never met any real deep dive SEO's before, and all I've seen is heads and upper torsos. So, I'm looking forward to seeing if it's an all rolled up trousers and fez type affair.
If you can make reporting sexy, then I can't imagine what the rest. must be like. Can't wait.
See you there. Matt
LOL. What? Is that because you've only watched videos?
Classic comment Lindsay - you'd be far too professional to let gin too near the keyboard, so maybe it's overwork :-)
But yes, you're right, I've not been as sociable as I could have been and so all I get is these avatars and videos. Until October...
Matt
Geez that was bad. I had to edit it. :|
The naming still cracks me up - the "across the bloody pond" edition...
Can't wait to see all the UK / European crowd at the London event. Thanks for all the hard work on this, Scott.
I'm really excited about the London show - Will are you going to give a roundup on that one soon, too?
I second Richard's suggestion - if you want to write a blog post about everything that's going into the London seminar in the next few weeks, that would be awesome :-)
I already know the location is incredible.
Yep. Wanted to wait till after Seattle was announced, but I have an item on my todo list entitled "sneak preview of London expert seminar blog post"... I can tell you can't wait ;)
Already booked my tickets for this! :D
Can't make it this year, unfortunately, but to anyone considering it, I had a great experience at last year's event. With just over 200 people, the networking opportunities and the chances to chat with A-list speakers were fantastic, especially for people who are first-timers or feel lost in the crowd at a huge conference.
For Pro members, I'd challenge you to find any event with this much content and expertise for the $599 price-tag. Plus, Seattle's a great town and the Mozzers are wonderful hosts, so what are you waiting for?
I'd go in a heartbeat if I could afford it.
For anyone that reads this and is contemplating going ... you should go! There are some kickass speakers and I've heard from several other people that this is a wonderful learning opportunity. :)
Same here! They both look excellent and there are some top quality speakers in the lineups!
First comment on the site and it is to say I have just registered to attend the London event. My first big seminar woohooo! :D
Slight aside but after nearly 8 years working in seo / online marketing am finally getting my ass in gear to try and get involved in the community. Can anyone reccomend any good regular meetups in or around Leeds?
Monthly Northern SEM meetup is where it's at :) next is 3rd July at Mr Foley's i think
It sure is! Check out the official blog https://www.northernsem.co.uk/ or LeedsSEO for updates!
Come down and get involved ;)
As StatMatt said - https://www.northernsem.co.uk/ is the place to be!
Cheers for the links guys :) I will definitely be getting involved in the local scene!
Would have loved to come along to the next meet on 3rd. I know Mr Foleys very well as I used to work in Park Lane house 2 mins away.
Unfortunately I am away on a Stag weekend in Bournemouth next week so can't make it but "if" I make it back I will be sure to get to the next one.
In the event of me not making it back, I will advise my girlfriend to offer my tickets for SEOmoz London up for grabs on here ;)
We'll be here when you're back to ply you with more booze - I hope it's a good one!
If you want the definitive list of activities in the UK then check out Where's The Geeks?
You can almost go meet up and drink every night of the week!
:P
I knew being a tommy cooper fan would one day prove to be a cost saving activity
What I think sounds great about this event is the 'training' idea, as opposed to simply being one more 'conference', where speakers typically, as Rand points out, focus on the subjects and the strategies but more rarely than often they release actionable tips and hints.
Here's looking forward to the London one.
Man, I would really love to come to this. Especially the one in London! But Seatlle would still be nice!
You should spend the money and go only if you fit in three categories. One is that you do not know anything and are looking for a jump start, the second is if you have hit a wall with your efforts. the third is successful and doesnt need me to tell them why. If you fit in between that new status and at the wall, spend the money building your web properties, and come back when this stuff is really valuable. Analysis paralysis is the HIV of SEO.
I'd semi-disagree with the first part. If you're very new to SEO, this might be a bit like jumping in the deep end. Last year was pretty high level and this year is going to be much more so - I'm really pushing the speakers hard to deliver lists of actionable tips and advice rather than just walkthroughs of subjects, so there's going to be an assumption of a lot of knowledge on the part of the audience.
If you're very new, something like this might be a good intro choice.
I obviously also believe there's a ton of value in coming for lots of other reasons, but it sounds like we've got different perspectives on that.
dcgloballc, it sounds like you need to read my blog post on how to get more value from search conferences.
I just registered and am really looking forward to this! I looked but couldn't find the address of the facility however...
It will be at the Seattle REI Flagship store at 222 Yale Ave.
Registered attendees will receive details about event schedule and accommodations soon.
Is there any discount for stay in hotel Westin for the attendees ? Wanted to ask this question - but could not trace any contact email address for the event.
Suparno
SE Jones LLC
There are a limited number of rooms available at the Westin for a special rate. We also have discounted rooms available at several other nearby hotels. You'll receive an email about hotel discounts and other details upon registration.
Looking forward to some truly advanced discussion at this seminar!Â
Question:Â I am booking my travel - are we going late on Tuesday or any events Tuesday night that I will want to stick around for?Â
Thanks!
 Mark
I went last year and had a blast! Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it this year. I have to save up for a wedding in November.
If you are on the fence as to whether or not to go, I would pull the trigger. It is a lot easier to network with a small and fun group than at a large conference.
Last year I stayed at the Watertown hotel near the university and highly recommend it.
Would love to see a SEO training series in Australia. The market is booming over here, but sadly there is limited training available down under.
That's an excellent idea - I fully endorse this. Rand, if you need someone to give a presentation in Australia I'm letting you know I'm here for you if you need me.
Just picked up 2 tickets for the seattle event. See you there :)
(english) subtitles on this dvd ? :)
Regards.
Must... get... gas money.
Already preordered the DVD. Sadly cannot afford to attend this summer. =/
I'm really looking forward to speaking at both of these - they should be awesome seminars :-)
Oh no! There's no room in the training budget for this! i hope you'll be doing it again next year.
