It's been a wild few weeks at the mozplex. Today wrapped up the amazing mozinar with our half-day tools training just in time to launch the new version of SEOmoz. Should we slow down this crazy pace? Nah.
If you're feeling a sense of deja vu, don't worry; it's perfectly normal. We're the same old moz, but with a new look, faster loading pages and a surprising amount of new functionality. Let's walk through it together, shall we?
Big Improvements to PRO Membership
It's a good day to be PRO; we've just released:
• A brand new PRO Dashboard, that's designed to be the center of everything you can do with your membership, including access to your web app campaigns, tools and tool reports, webinars, Q+A, discount store, etc. If it's part of PRO, you'll find it in the Dashboard.
• The web app has made some big improvements and we're now announcing a full public beta - campaigns should be faster, more accurate and dramatically less buggy. There's also some cool new functionality I'll cover below.
• The dramatically upgraded SEO Tools page, which will likely show off plenty of tools you may not have seen/heard about until now.
• Slide decks from our PRO Tools Training are now downloadable. We had a highly interactive, terrificly valuable day sharing tips, tricks and applications for the data and resources and wanted to give you a small taste of that experience by making those slides available.
If you've been curious about what's in PRO membership, there's a new PRO Tour section that gives you a more complete look at the features and functionality. Also - the last chance to get PRO at $79/month and be locked into the rate before it rises to $99 is now - after Friday, the price change goes into effect.
Zoinks! A New SEOmoz Website
Rub your eyes a bit and have a look around. We've done a considerable amount of work to make pages load faster, let the design highlight the content in a cleaner fashion and added a few fun bits, too. Big changes include:
• A new home to Learn SEO. I've recorded an "Intro to SEO" video and we've made all of our learning-focused content available through that page (nearly all of it is entirely FREE!)
• A renewed focus on YOUmoz and the Blog (both of which are featured more prominently on the homepage). We've re-designed all of these to help make them more useful and usable, as well as focusing on the content itself with a less-intrusive design. As always, we've kept a strong focus on comments and participation and we're planning to do even more with it in the future.
• More accessibility to our SEO tools, including a free sneak peek at our LDA Labs tool (more about that in my next post)
There's lots more coming soon (a new about section, upgrades to the marketplace, more free information in the Learn SEO section, etc.) so keep an eye out.
The Web App is Now in Public Beta
Our private beta launch to PRO members had more than 2,000 folks create thousands of campaigns. While the feedback has been phenomenal (your very kind tweets really helped keep our engineers pushing through sleepless nights and crates of pizza), we know there were a lot of bugs and missing functionality in the early release. Starting today, the app is far more stable, speedy and powerful. Crawls should come back consistently, rankings should more consistent and accurate and issues/recommendations are rocking.
We've also added a brand new feature - one of our most requested - exportable PDF reports for rankings (with crawl diagnostics and on-page reports coming very soon). As Adam Feldstein, our head of Product, discussed today in his roadmap presentation at the tools training, next on the list is additional crawl issues, Google Analytics integration and exciting new functionality for competitive comparisons in the link analysis tab.
As always, we welcome feedback - your messages have been instrumental in helping us improve, and while we're feeling good about this wider launch, the web app is likely staying in beta for another few months as we add features and continue to tweak, bug fix and get better.
Still Ironing Out Some Kinks
There's a few known issues with the new site that should be cleaned up in the next 12-24 hours. These include a bit of CSS oddness on the Beginner's Guide and the Keyword Difficulty tool (though both still function), the thumbs highlighting being a bit softer than intended (for thumbs up/down you've already left), some headline/text font sizes and spacing, etc. Sadly, we've also temporarily broken the long beloved functionality of highlighting "new" comments in a post - that should be back soon.
I also noted that we had some issues with Domain Authority in our last push of the Linkscape update. Amazingly, thanks to the hard work of our engineering team, we're expecting to have new scores up in the next few days (rather than taking a full 2 weeks). We still need to run some tests, but we're hoping to fix many of the odd outlier issues.
We Love Your Feedback
If you see anything you love, hate or think might be an error, we'd love to hear from you. Every page on the site now has a "Feedback" button on the far left-hand side and we read those obsessively! Of course, you can also leave us comments on this post.
Thanks so much for joining in the adventure that is SEOmoz. In the weeks and months to come, well.... let's just say you ain't seen nothing yet :-)
This new Digg sucks.
Oh wait, wrong website. Nice job guys.
Nice one!
ps. your right about the new digg!
I need to add I miss seeing my name at the top, "Welcome..." linked to my member profile. Now it's much harder to find my profile and track my last few blog comments.
I'd like to second this as being a problem.
This is the first time I've been able to add a comment since the new design. After I tried everything else, I rebooted my computer and voila, this comment box came up.
I'm not sure if it will come up again, so in case it goes back to not letting me in, I want to take this opportunity to say that I've really enjoyed being able to interact with the seomoz community. It's been the friendliest, most helpful, non-flaming place and I've enjoyed being a part of it.
In case I continue to have problems logging in to comment, I wanted to let y'all know that I'll be continuing to read everyone's comments, I just won't be able to comment myself (which probably won't be a bad thing as I tend to be too verbose anyway)
And thanks to Gianluca's (gfiorelli1) encouragement, I've taken the twitter plunge so I can always respond to individual comments that way.
OK. I'm going to hit "add comment" and see if it lets me back in afterwards.
Shane. Shane! Come back! 'Bye, Shane
Ha! Love the reference! Oddly, I always thought it would be funny to name a dog "Shane" for that reason...
We'll totally switch back to the old site if you can no longer comment. It just wouldn't be the same without you.
Please don't give up yet!
We're working on another update right now that we hope will get you back up and commenting just like the good old days.
If all goes well, it should be out there by this evening.
Whoo hooo!!! I got an email from Adam and they found a workaround for me. If I turn off java script, I can comment.
Yee haw! I'm back in the saddle again!
Sorry about the comments folks - looks like they're more busted than we thought.
Engineering team is asleep right now, but should be fixed ASAP in the morning. Big apologies!
They're working okay for me now, the only issue I have really are the visuals. I like the rich-text editor, but I'm not sure about the floating comment box. A lot of SEOs are always on the move and it's really not mobile-friendly at all (I haven't taken a look on my iPhone yet to see if there is a mobile fallback, but I'll assume not for the time being).
It feels like the comments are far too spacious. On posts where there are a lot of comments, replies and replies to those replies (I'm going too far, I know) I fear that the page would get far too long.
Edit: Just tried it out on my iPhone and it's acting the same way as before.
One other thing I've noticed about comments is the huge gap between paragraphs, it's at least 40px!!! That's a bit over the top :p
Everything is cool apart from the comment system - really not sure about it!!
One thing I liked about the old comment system was that when writing a comment you could see the post in the background really clearly. So when I would lose my train of thought I could just scroll up the page and voila! THAT'S what I was trying to say...I'd love to see the return of that feature. But I know the comments are a work in progress right now.
Everything looks good though! Thanks for all your hard work!!
Edit: Sweet! Just noticed that my dashboard now lists my most recently run Linkscape reports. Super convenient, thanks guys!
I'm definitely in agreement with this post...
There are usually a couple things I'd like to address regarding the other comments or the post itself and it really helps to be able to see the page clearly and be able to scroll (the old system)
The new site really does look great though!
Agreed with all of them above. Look and feel quite difficult to handle writing comments now. I liked the flexible comment box and it was easy to go back to the post and review them once more and then improve my points, that way. I feel that was even more helpful than this one.
Do you know what?
The best thing I like of all this New SEOmoz Design Revolution is that you are having an huge usability tests for free thanks to our Mozzers feedback. I think this is the "secret" lesson we all have to write down in our notepad of tips-to-follow, as it is a clear example (a case study maybe?) of how building and engaging a community has to be a goal online.
Apart that, I like the new look and I'm sure that all the little bugs are going to be fixed (for instance the social buttons here, especialy the FB comment window, tend to be hidden by the right column).
The thing I'm appreciating the most is the new PRO Member's Dashboard (boys... go PRO, it's the best investment). The Dashboard is very clear, with still some improvements to de done (I'm noticing them down) but now it really has a real actionable value.
Finally, I'm waiting for your post about LDA tomorrow. Already playing with it and curious to know the meaning of the % (I'm glad to see that for many keywords I'm around 85%/95%... but I want to know what to do with that info :)), and the day LDA will be implemented in the WebApp I'll be toasting a good glass of wine in your name.
NOTE ABOUT CONTENT:
Maybe it's me... but where is now the Directory list?
[found... using the search box > www.seomoz.org/directories]
Wow It's exciting to see the new page! I really like the new tools page and I feel that the site in total is more light/airy.
I do feel that a few things are a bit harder to read, such as the white letters on the blue in the footer (SEO consulting, popular categories, etc.) but maybe its my browser (Macbook pro running safari).
I noticed you said that you made the pages load faster. Would you mind sharing the main things you did to achieve this?
I did a quick check with firebux/google page speed and noticed most of the pages are getting 61/100 which is about 15 lower than before. I know that a lot of the suggestions are not really relevant to many sites but it seems a few could be improved?
Also when I left this comment I originally got duplicate posts with only a period :) In addition, this comment was more spaced out than I intended. The comments seem a bit buggy
All good suggestions - some are in progress; others we'll certainly jump on soon. Thanks dude!
This is the first time I was able to bet in to comment. The add comment hasn't worked in Opera, Firfox or IE. SO I apologize for hijacking this reply but I had to test to see if this works.
Oooooh shiny so far. I like the simplicity of the new UI. Thing appear to be loading a lot faster too. I really appreciate how SEOmoz has positioned themselves as the leaders in SEO education. What a great feeder into the awesome PRO toolset. Your mamas' didn't raise no fools as they say.
Well done on new site :) I have to say I much prefer the look and feel of this design, just seems to be easier to find things, and I'm liking the CSS3 implimentations.
I have really noticed the difference in page speed as well, very important in todays world, looks great on my iPhone as well!
Digging the new look! Nice job guys. Will have to poke around a bit more and see some of these other changes!
Thanks lady! We are super excited about it, los of tweaking going on right now, but all and all we are super proud to roll these changes out!
Great job - i was pleasantly surprised. It's a lot "lighter"...but...
"We've done a considerable amount of work to make pages load faster"
Really?
Page Load Time (before): .18s (after): .50s
Total Load Time (before): 1.71s (after): 2.31s
Total Page Size (before): 346.74kb (after): 580.97kb
PageSpeed Score (before): 70 (after): 63 (higher is better)
YSlow Score (before): 54 (after): 55
(source: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.seomoz.org/slpdYyF4#report-history )
The blog page still has 13 external CSS files (3 conditional) and 10 external JavaScript files and uses a Image sprite that probably (one could argue) contains images that aren't really suitable for spriting.
I know that this isn't the be-all and end-all, and I really think the site does so well in so many other areas, but I really can't see that loading faster claim standing up (and yes - I am a page optimization freak).
We did a few things on the speed front (Kate can probably describe better than I) that include:
caching of dynamic content
separating the database for the blog/YOUmoz from that of the web app
increasing some hardware availability
We're still working on the CSS/HTML optimization side with this new design, so maybe I should describe it as more "consistently the same speed" or "lacking some of the speed hiccups" as before rather than just raw "faster loading pages."
Rand is right - most of the optimizations we did were at a database and caching level - we haven't optimized the css or implemented a CDN for images, etc.
So perhaps it may be a little tid bit slower on average, but it will be a lot more responsive under high load conditions (and I don't know how many people were frustrated by the fact our site would often be so slow right after a blog post was published - but I know some people were and that should be fixed now).
There is definitely a lot more to do, so please keep the feedback coming! We are making improvements and adding new things as fast as we can! :)
Hi Rand / Kate -
A friend of mine here in Seattle, Brian Pane (formerly CTO Classmates.com), developed a product to make websites run faster and released it as open source, it does a lot of optimization (transforms the content on the fly). It was built to make websites, including high traffic sites, faster.
One thing that I was suggesting he do as sort of a proof of concept was to integrate his solution and using Google Analytics, do some A-B testing to see how the increase in speed would effect conversion rate.
I acts much like a CDN but better because it actually reduces the image sizes for you and changes things that plugins like YSlow would indicate you should optimize.
Check it out https://www.jitify.com/products/
Scott
That sounds great! The loading time improvements are visibly experienced now. Thanks Kate!
I fear change.
in my old man voice... "I remember the days when the digg was just a giant bucket of votes and seomoz had nifty headers and large title tags. bahumbug"
nice work. really
The Pro Tour is killer! what a great way to show your value. I might be stealing that idea :)
Whose got a greasemonkey script to kill that annoying feedback button?
awesome i love the refresh, just wondering why the RSS subscribe button is trying to hide Roger... poor little guy!
The YouMoz Stuff section could do with a little tweak to make it more useful even if you can add 3-4 quick links for internal seomoz products and i want to see my photo back so i know clearly if im signed in :)
Wow, a fresh new SEOmoz. Finally some social network sharing buttons on each post :d.
However, I found the font size of sidebar content is quite small so that it's kind of difficult for me to read.
All this after a great mozinar? Is it Christmas or something?
Seriously though, like the look ... it's crisp. Have to poke around a bit though.
Loving the new interface, thanks for your hard work. I have to say I'm also in love with the Pro tools, the link analysis alone has made such a difference to so many of our sites. It's given me much needed x-ray vision.
Text from comments are a little light, for my liking. Wish they would be a bit darker, so they'd be easier to read.
Other then that, awesome improvements. Love the easy on the eyes design!
I just discovered the history pagerank checker, but (as I just submitted it through the feedback tool) it does not seem to work properly. When I enter a URL and hit submit, nothing happens.
By the way, I just love the new design ! Congrats guys !
hah! I had the same thing!
Sorry about that! We fixed it this morning and it should be working now :)
Thanks for being understanding :)
Can you make post titles bigger? They are smaller even than the headers in the text. It doesn't look good...
Yes - definitely on the list!
BTW congratulations with the redesign. The homepage looks great, big improvement. It is always difficult to introduce a new design to such a big website.
So glad to be PRO already!
I have to admin one item I like especially - the better loading time :-)
I love it and am now newly PRO looking forward to having a play once the engineers figure out whats wrong with mine :( sob sob sob
new look is more clean, keep going!
I like the new design, but I had some issues on my blackberry. Granted, the blackberry isn't the best for mobile browsing, but I could comment and read articles before, where as this morning I couldn't log in or post comments. It would not allow my cursor to go to the password field. I could use the username field just fine. I'll give it a go again tomorrow and see if there is any change and post what I get in case you care about blackberry users.
On the right sidebar, I would provide a top/bottom margin for the links in "related posts" and "related Q&A" to break each one up a little. It is a little hard to follow at first glance. I like the improvement of the "I Love SEOMOZ" badge too - I might actually use that one. Can I send you guys one of my "I LOVE SEOTERIC" badges in exchange? LOL!
Thanks for the time you guys put into these improvements!
Nice to see the new look of the site. I was wondering for a long time yesterday and expecting a blog post from Rand, regarding the changes and improvements in the site. And yeah! found them here today! :) Feel happy to see those bunch of tools in my PRO dashboard. A lot lot happy that the slide decks is available for download now. Eventhough some changes where little difficult to handle and get through, it was all a fantastic job from the moz team.
Thanks and keep improving for us Rand. :)
I like the new look too. Nice job, Rand, Joanna & the whole crew.
Seems its only me that doesn't like the new look, oh well. To me its all starting to feel diluted.
Also text/images are being cut off in IE8.
Can we please, please, please see line graphs showing historical ranking progress? :) Ideally 10 keywords per chart, each a different colours. So many rank checking tools don't offer this.
A lot of clients still focus on this despite the fact we like to focus on traffic and sales and it would be good to show "here's where we started and here's where we are now" for targeted keywords in the SERPs. Or have I overlooked this feature?
We actually do offer historical ranking charts for all of your ranked keywords in the web app. Just click on the ranking (the number) in the table on the ranking summary page to see it.
We only show one keyword per historical chart, but it does include all of your ranking pages for that keyword as well as your competitors' rankings from that SERP.
Last week we also added a PDF export capability for this page as well!
The site looks good, I do notice the speed improvement a bit so great job. It will only take a few days to get used to the new layout, thanks for making it look pretty though!
If the web app is now in a Public Beta, shouldn't it be free to use for anyone, not jsut pro members?
beta = available to select few
public beta = available to current paying memebers
live = available to new pro members
I'm guessing that would be the break down? We're actually working on a launch schedule coming up, and I believe that is how we'll roll it out as well.
congrats...i love the design ...but never realized your SEO tool was so ...pricey :) People actually pay 2k a month for it? I know you guys are great but 2k? Wow...somehow I never paid attention to that price but due to the new design it got my attention big time.
Just want to say the site is excellent, particularly the home page, cleaner and fresher, and the site is a lot faster from my point of view, so along with the majority I say good job ... (only thing not sure of is the little hand-written fonts on the Social Buttons etc. look a bit goofy, rather than 'playful').
Oh, and I have just seen the new DA numbers for sites role out, glad to see SEOmoz back up where it should be :) ... 'that was quick!' I want what you guys have for breakfast! Just have to ask, is it like a roman galley slave ship sometimes? If so, who cracks the whip?
P.S. Is that Robot naked under that subscribe button?
Re: Robot's clothing status
A gentleman never tells.
Yeah, I noticed the new DA update too. I have to say, hosting a seminar, redesigning the website, and updating the DA all in one week... o_O you guys deserve a long weekend!!
Like the new design except the blue background, my eyes would love a bit darker color, helps me focus more on the content. The site is just too bright this way! And the white text in the footer is an absolute no-no for me.
I also noticed that you got rid of the Pro signup page that you created together with the Conversion Rate Expert guys. Is the new webapp so much more different that the old landing page is not relevant any more or is it something else? Would love to have a bit more insight about this.
Nice renovation job! It's nice and speedy and very slick (or 'shmick' as we would say in Australia). Of course we would expect nothing less... :-).
Gary
I think new the clean, clear, blue-sky feel is great. Much more welcoming and the content stands out more. Great usability, fast page-loads, and all the usual fantastic content. I like the new SEOmoz even more.
Actually it's quite reminiscent of Twitter - in a nice way - if you don't mind my saying so. (It seems to be working quite well for them, after all!)
Great looks Rand..so far..but only thing I want from SEO moz ..that blog portion should emphaize more on the site...I mean if possible tab button for seomoz blog need to lilttle larger..and recent post Title should be enlarge...that would be nice..
Regards-
Anirban
This is spectacular. All the visual and structural changes are awesome and your support Rock! It is so easy now to go to the dashboard and access all the tools. Keep the good work Rand and team.
The new site is really great !
Love the new site!
About the web app, have the issues around false duplicate content been resolved? I'm still seeing the high numbers in our campaigns, but maybe we should be waiting for another crawl...
Keep up the good work - can't wait for the GA integration! You guys are making it unnecessary to use many other tools.
I am glad you mentioned about the DA issue, I had a few sites that were outliers, I couldn't work it out for the life of me.
I'm digging the new site... the lighter and brighter design really works IMHO. Good job Moz staff!
Would be nice if it worked :) I'm sure it's just growing pains. And yes, already sent in a support email.
And so the gradual move towards global domination continues. Good work guys - just don't forget your friends when you're sitting in an underwater lair stroking a white cat.
Can I have one mechanical hand and a extra-super-ominous voice? And maybe not get foiled by a bionic goofball's 13 year old niece all the time? That would be nice.
Nice look. I am glad you implemented socail media. I was wondering why that had not been in the past site.
I love the redesign. I usually like dark colours but the blue background make the website looking posh:-) also the tab LEARN SEO and improvments in tools sections are great, so are the web apps in a Public Beta - thank you, great job :-)
You changed the look of the "PRO Member" badge, I'm going to have to update my avatar now ... oh no,actually it's cool. Carry on.
Faux member?
That's new.
I really like this new, clean look.. Nice job guys..
Just got back from holiday and thought I'd log into my favourite website and...WOW It's all changed. After the shock and realisation that I was in the right place :) I'm really taken with the changes.
A quick question though... its taking around a week for the data in a campaign to be populated. Will this always be the case or is it likely to speed up in the future.
Keep up the good work.
Emma
Loving the new look of the site, very nice job guys!
Very nice job! Definitely good to freshen up the site from time to time. Some feedback from my side; I loved the dropdown menus to the "most used" PRO tools. That's a click further away now.. not so good imo. Also it seems that the check pagerank tool is broken in Safari on MacOSX 10.6.4
Excellent design, I was very impressed when I entered my account today.
Looking good, as a user who spends most of his time in the middle of nowhere connected to the internet by the finest piece of string the faster loading pages are a great improvement!
Hi Rand,
The site looks great! Congratulations.
I did have one questions though, has there been some tweaks to the moz rankings? I was checking out our competition and it looks like https://www.ticketliquidator.com has a Domain Authority of 100! I hope we are not going up against the new Google.
Thanks for any input.
Tom
Some rankings were broken in the last update, particularly PA and DA. In a few days it should be fixed, so no worries! Chances are, your rankings are safe :P
I like the new site :-) I agree that the commenting system could use a boost though.
SEO on!
Well done! Very nice job done.
Impressive improvement on an already impressive looking site. Kudos!
Another observation - the ordered lists (and maybe unordered lists) have smaller type, making them look like terms & conditions. You can see this at the bottom of <a href="https://www.seomoz.org/blog/mobile-serps-usability">this post</a>.
Fresh and nice !
I think the footer titles in white aren't enough contrasting with the background ( even with the text shadow ). It's my point of view hehe
Lovely! I wish I had the budget to go PRO, and then I'd happily spend all day testing everything I could get my hands on and not get one amount of horsey paperwork or marketing done :)
Love the lighter design all around; I remember thinking the other day that the "original" SEOmoz design was a little dark and gloomy. Looking forward to hearing about all the new and improved toys...
Very exciting - will definitely take some time today to click through all the tools again and play with all the updates. :)
Interesting look. What made you choose the new subscribers buttons not being statically pulled? (rss, facebook & twitter). Congrats on the change I hope it improves your SEO and heatmap :)
Looks great and love the page load time improvements. Going to the pro dashboard now to go take a look ;)
Nice work as usual guys!
quick point no update to the Mozrank listings, would be great if you added a refresh and the ability to filter by country so you could see who are the top Mozzers in lets say Australia ;)
Or by Nationality or Market Localization... even though cases like mine (living in Spain and working mainly for the Italian market) I suppose that have to be quite few.
yep i agree, it can also help build more networks between mozzers if we know of others we can reach out to for geographic help
That could be a cool idea... and I'm having another one, graphical: why not a globe with pins corresponding to the location of all the subscribed mozzers?
Lovin' it.
Kudos to the new tools! Onward and upward!
First impression: Awesome! Still have to check out some of the new features and get used to the site, but so far it looks like a true improvement! Congrats
Let me guess...Rand suggested that it should be more open and cheerful, and Joanna suggested it should be faster! The one thing I would suggest you consider is moving the My Dashboard link from the upper-right corner; it's obscured by my favorite new toolbar
Yes, I used the lowly semi-colon.
2 words...
"Exportable PDF"...way to answer the call of the community!
Love the new tools section. It looks like there are even more interesting things on the horizon. Just when I thought you guys might be slowing down...you speed up.
Thanks!
BTW - the are more (and prettier) PDFs coming soon. Hopefully within days to 2 weeks - so then you can get really excited! :)
I'm loving the new design and am glad to see a better architecture. I know many people will have much easier access to some of the tools that seemed to be hidden before. Great Job Mozzers!
My personal opinion: the rectangular header where the globe is looks tacky, doesn't it? also the 'The daily SEO Blog' in the H1 doesnt look neat, I would try with Verdana or some other Helvetica... personally I liked more the look of the other site as it presented itself with a bit more of the pro and sophisticated look, but I can understand you guys may not need a site with the 'wow' factor any more now that SEOMoz has built a reputation and brand for innovation, great tools and quality content.... the site does indeed feel faster, more responsive, and easier to use than the previous one... well done!
Great new look Rand, seems much friendlier and easy to navigate. Some bugs but I´m sure you´re engineering dept will get them fix. Great SEO Pro Training Series by the way, lots of great information, great food, great people to meet, and good parties... Will definitelly recommend to every one assisting to that event. Thank you.
Great job,
As expected good job! Finally see those social sharing buttons, made my day!
Thanks
Agreed with you. Just loved the social media sharing buttons. Now it is easy to share the interesting posts with my friends. Great job. Thanks.
The site looks great! The lighter colors make a big difference and am definitely noticing the page speed. I can't wait to hear more about the new labs LDA tool. Great job as always
- Evan
Awesome. Good job!
Was the design done in-house?
Yes - everything design is 100% Matt & Deric here at the mozplex. They're fast and furious right now trying to fix up a few more items.
We have serious design talent in house... #weareSOlucky!
great improvement, I can see the value of your tools..well done keep up the good work.
Site looks good overall, but your robot mascot looks strikingly similar to Talking Carl, an iPhone app. At least, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw it.
Or is Talking Carl similar to our Roger the Bot?
Roger has been here for quite awhile :). I think its the other way around.
pretty sure roger mozbot was around before that app ;) cease and desist!
oooo... how did I double enter that comment? and I can't delete :(
