Actionable Tips and Deep Insights
"MozCon is the best online marketing conference I have ever attended. The content is well-rounded and advanced." -- Bekka Palmer, Thunder SEO
We're working hard with our speakers to craft incredible talks just for you. Some of the topics we've been bouncing around, include:
- SEO and Google+
- Community as an Inbound Marketing Channel
- Cutting Edge Web Spam Research
- New Forms of Conversion Rate Optimization
- Link Analysis through APIs
- SEO Project Management
Roger Mozbot's busy making the schedule and checking it twice. We'll have our full agenda up soon, and you'll find it here.
Three Days and One Amazing Experience
"MozCon 2011 in Seattle was excellent! The new knowledge was plentiful, the planning was primo, and the food was incredible – tons of vegetarian options and lots of snack times! Frequent breaks were necessary to refresh our brains every few hours so we could cram more giant piles of information in." -- Heather Physioc
Besides our programming, MozCon 2012 will give you the chance to meet face-to-face all the Mozzers you've been chatting with in the comments on this blog, in the answers on q&a, by email, customer service questions, or over Twitter.
Grab an engineer and get a hint at a new SEOmoz product. Rickroll Jen in person, or ask Shelly about why someone drew her riding a unicorn on a whiteboard.
And don't forget to hug Roger!
For those of you wondering about the food, have no fear! We'll provide you with breakfast and lunch all three days, appetizers/light meal Wednesday night, and food and drinks at our Thursday night party. Plus, plenty of snackage. You won't go hungry or have to fret about a meal budget.
Celebrate, Moz-Style
After a day of digesting knowledge, put down your laptop and enjoy being in the fabulous city of Seattle and getting to know those who share your passion for organic marketing. We'll be hosting a casual meet-up Wednesday night and a full-on party at the Garage Thursday night. Make some new friends and show off your bowling or pool skills.
Relax at the Westin Hotel in Downtown Seattle
MozCon goers get a discount for the Westin Hotel. And wow, do I have some awesome news for you, the Westin did a big remodel this past winter just for us! (Kidding about that last part.) All their rooms have been refreshed and upgraded. Swanky.
Plus, if you're coming from the airport, the Westin is an easy-peasy 30 minute LinkLight Rail ride away. Learn more and ditch that rental car.
What's also amazing is that you're within walking distance of Seattle's legendary Pike Place Market, Elliot Bay Waterfront, and... the Mozplex!
"I've been passionately involved in SEO/SEM for nearly a decade, and I can honestly say that MozCon was the most educational 3 days that I've ever experienced in that amount of time. There was a wealth of tangible information and insight that I'm going to be able to utilize in all aspects of SEO. MozCon was simply inspiring." -- Greg Bebezas, OpenText Corporation

I'm impressed with the speaker line-up, especially all of the ladies representing! *raises the roof*
Just two words:
SPAIN ROCKS!
My compliments to Aleyda!!!
Thank you very much Gianluca! I'm honored to be invited to speak... I'm really excited about the opportunity to meet more of the greatest SEO community in person and have the chance to share some SEO experience while having fun :) Vamos a darlo todo! (translation: going to give it all!)
Super, super, super, super psyched. That is all.
This looks interesting, only 699 for a pro member is well worth it! This is a small investment considering the value of great SEO knoledge!
Mike Pantoliano and Jonathon Coleman FTW! I love everyone speaking, no really, but those two I am most pumped about. Rock it gentlemen!
Wow. That's quite a lineup. Looking forward to this!
And now I urge the international Moz community to start checking online the airlines companies in order to have cheaper tickets to Seattle. And I don't care if I have to sleep in the cargo ;)
Oh...now there's an idea.
If someone could search a few hundred times for fares from Adelaide to Seattle with return via NYC I'd appreciate it. LOL.
Cargo hold is fine with me too.
Hope you can make it to Seattle :)
Sha
I will be there to bring my "French flair" because Quebec also have a bunch of SEO genius !
Merci beaucoup
See U :)
Looking forward for great conf.
Great announcement, unfortunately i'l be not available to attend. But undoubted will send my colleagues. And hope video and slides will be available here as in 2011.
699.00 is an extremely good deal. Great conference, bringing more peeps this year!
Excellent! We'll see if you can top last years event!
Double Roger hugs? =D
I've been working with our speaker line up, and there's some CRAZY PANTS AMAZING knowledge/projects/tips coming together.
Awesome lineup of speakers. Wish I wasn't on the other side of the world. Any chance of Mozcon ever coming to Australia?
Australian needs a confrence such as Mozcon badly imo..
Things like Online Marketing Retailer and The Internet Show do not cut it at the same level as MozCon, sure SMX Sydney Elite should be interesting this year but I think their is room for more imo...Even the MozCon around the world thing needs to stop off donw here.
Only thing is the overall size of australia and the SEO market is far lower then the US =(
ummm... I think there might be an Aussie Mozcation suggestion filed away under @caseyhen's candy jar ;)
If you need people to help make it happen I will put my hand up !!!!
Very keen to get it happening.
Looks great would love to attend, but I will be in Europe on holidays when it is on =( But +1 to the comments about comming to Australia =)
O man I dream of the day I can come to MozCon
Great group of speakers! Good value too!
So after conference, You will give the Video for free!! to people who joined this conference, aren't you? And I am in Thailand please makesure about the rest we can live. Also Visa from USA is very dificulty thing in Thailand so please add solution who is foreigner, such kind of Invitation from you.
Hi! We will have videos available, but they usually aren't free to attendees. However PRO members will always get a much discounted price. If you have any questions about visa or anything please email us at help at seomoz.org. Thanks!
Man I wish I lived that side of the pond sometimes - I would absolutely love to have attended Mozcon and not just to have a picture with Roger Mozbot - what a line up of speakers!
$699 is a perfect price we can say.......looking forward to this....
Going for another conf in April but this one in my plans too!
Google+ is still "on the table"? J
Could be likely I will attend. The Critchlow's might not be the only ones with an english accent :)
Really hope I can make it out for this one. Starting a new job in a couple weeks, hopefully I can convince the new place to send me, last year was amazing!
When is the MozCon coming to PHX, AZ? We would definitly attend!
Interesting...but $699 for PRO members?! A little steep I think.
Dude, if you only knew the level of information given at the event.
I agree with Kate. Last year, I went to SMX Advanced, and then attended MozCon for the first time.
... I love SMX and all, but honestly I would have been completely happy if I only went to MozCon.
For a three day conference?? Hardly dude.
Doesn't seem steep for a conference of that length and magnitude. I attended last year, and based on last years content alone - when I read 699 I thought "WHOA - BARGAIN!!"
In the past, Moz has priced the event just barely to cover expenses, so they don't make any money on this. It's totally for the community as an educational and networking opportunity.
Awesome content, amazing participants, excellent food all day long, and kick-ass parties every day... Ah, and Roger on the show floor for some souvenir pictures. Believe me, it's a god deal!
We paid around $2K for SMX per person. I am sure MOZcon will be a great event. I only wish there could be more people speaking. ;) Definitely looking forward to it.
I was at MozCon last year -- Best conference I have ever attended hands down. Simply awesome.
Unfortunately, this year I've got a pre-booked conflict and it doesn't look like I'll be able to attend unless I turn my world upside-down. :(
You shouldn't pre-book your conflicts. Let them occur naturally ;) Sorry you won't be able to make it out :(
5th year wedding anniversary in Bora Bora -- Difficult to convince the wife to cancel that for MozCon... :)
$699 is a fantastic price, Confrences in Sydney Australia are $1,500-$3,000+
$699 is a bargain for the speakers and information you will be getting. I've been to other high level Search conferences that charge twice (or more) the amount with less quality information. I'd pay twice the amount to get the knowledge and actionable items/tips that these speakers bring at MozCon. SEOmoz puts on, IMO, the best SEO conference around.
