Yesterday, I filmed some quick thoughts on Google's Penguin update. You can find the full video on our Google+ page:
In it, I cover a few unique items about Penguin:
- It's (weirdly) not focused on improving search quality
- It appears to affect some of the worst spam (but not all) and some very light forms of spam/manipulation (oddly)
- Not tied to on-page or on-site necessarily, though outlinks may be looked at and several other updates occurred at similar times (making it tough to reverse engineer what might have caused a penalty)
- Appears to affect a disproportionate number of web service industry sites (though that could be correlation, not causation)
- Not yet clear if this a rolling update (though there are signs it may be)
- Left a lot of very strange, "empty" types of results in many of the spammiest verticals/SERPs
I wanted to crosspost about it here so those asking for my opinions about Penguin could check it out. Look forward to some great discussion on G+ (or here in the comments). Oh, and if you haven't encircled SEOmoz on Google+... You totally should! We've got another WB+ video coming out very soon :-)
All of us need to put our thinking caps on and find the few 'common denominators' that are affecting our websites rankings. For example we had 12 out of 80 websites hit HARD by the Penguin yet we use the same strategies on all of them- so we are currently diving in deep to figure out what these 12 sites have in common and perhaps figure out a pattern.. In addition we are running multiple split tests on these sites to see what works and what does not.
For example a couple of sites we simply deleted some 'poor/bad inbound' links but for a couple others we did not touch the links and instead are de-tuning the onsite seo (specifically the exact-match kw linking and overal kw density). And for a couple other sites we are logging into GWT and finding all errors google reports and fixing them.
If anyones interested shoot me a note and i will keep you posted on our findings. We are on red alert and I have a couple employees dedicating ALL of their time to combating the Penguin until we figure this mess out. We consider oursleves above-board and white hat and have never been affected like this before- so definitely a shock.
Yes - Mega Shock
It appears that Google is opening the flood gates to Negative SEO (Link Building).
Link building didn't became negative. Wrong link building became negative.
I think he's referring to competitors trying to sabatouge your site.
If you think Negative SEO is a just a myth, check out some of the experiances from guys at seobook:https://www.seobook.com/negative-seo
Yes, and it's disappointing that it is now a real possibility for competitors to do it.
Ah ok, now I understand what he ment! Sorry Brent.
I totally agree with You @ Michael and thanks Rand for this penguin update, atleast you wrote something. For a long time I was looking for that.
I couldn't agree more. Businesses now have a good set of rules for taking down their competition.
Link building can be done in both ways (positive as well as negative), but the penguin update not affected good seo site, its bad for negative SEO's.
Interesting take - it makes sense that they'd be prepared to sacrafice search quality in the short term; the determined will find a way back to the top. If they can get people to abandon black hat, it'll be much much better for them in the long run.
Well, either that or they seriously (or should that be arrogantly) misjudged the amount of quality stuff they have indexed, and went ahead under the assumption that there'd be more than enough quality pages to replace the ones they knocked down!
I'll post very interesting experiment on Google Penguin this week. Keep tracking.
Is it true that the Penguin update looks down on even very gray hat SEO like having links in your clients pages back to your site, but surely this can't be right?! If I make a web page for a client and put a link back to me (the designer) in the footer, I'm going to get stomped on by Penguin? Outrageous!
Would be great to know what the best practice on anchor text links is right now. Is it just putting your brand name there or a brand name plus keyword or a no-money-word or a mix of it. If mix what ratio? Would be good to know.
I'm with you Mike- and oddly enough my last name is also Janik :-D This is a HUGE question- everyone is now saying to stay away from a ton of 'exact-match' keyword links but not sure what the right (new) mix is... I think the overall goal is make your onsite/offsite marketing efforts just look as 'natural' and organic as possible without appearing to be SEOd..
Hello Mr. Janik :-) Yes, and maybe it might be good (as a web designer) to only mention your name in the footer instead of linking. Maybe just: Web design Michael Janik.
I saw this with my biggest competitor who ranks no. 1 on many major money keywords in my field (web design). But at this moment it is just spekulation.
I would assume it's a mix but I doubt anyone knows the best ratio for that yet.
The Best Evergreen Solution in short and sweet:
Natural Form of Link Building:
1. Writing Interesting content that Users would like to share
2. Adding some Social Media and share options on all of your pages ( Doorway for users to share )
3. Make your website more interactive eg: facebook commenting, .. ( It automatically shares a link on their facebook profile and Motivates Visitors to come back again )

I love the analytical approach to this update versus the myriad of opinionated posts and comments around the web.
I think the #1 thing that we should take from this update, is that Google does not like excessive optimization. In fact, ever since their CEO change last year Google seems to have been on a war path and punishing a lot of quality optimizers in the process. 50% of my organic visitor keywords in analytics read "(not provided)". That said, if there's a ranking system and the positioning on the ranking system provides variable levels of value to those that rank, it's human nature to compete for the spot that will provide the most value.
SEO will only continue to gain prevelance, more for fundamental human semantics than Google's attempt at "obedience training".
This was a refreshing and unexpected thing to see in the middle of a Tuesday! Can I ask how you know about all this? Have you been piecing together little snippets of what Google has revealed or is it mostly speculation?
Mostly speculation, experience, interactions and a lot of reading (and some of this stuff Google has publicly announced, like the fact that it's targeted at webspam, their form for reconsideration, etc).
Hey Rand!
Nice Video it gives some more facts about this penguin but still not enough there are too many speculation on SEO community.
Sir we consider each and every word form your mouth and try to get some interesting facts So sir instead of just making this stuff more complicated please Do a research and let mozers know about it (as you every time do).
I hope your team already started to figure it out (let us know if you already started) and come up with deep analysis about this penguin…….
Regards
Asif
Here's a perspective from a novice SEOer:
From a standing start (new domain) it took us 2 months to get results on page 1 of Google which would have been a little quicker had I had a little more experience. Since Penguin arrived we saw some significant and positive changes which are not just the result of other sites being penalised.
OK, our market is specialised but this does not detract from the main issue - we played fair and continue to do so and the Panguin seems to like fair - its that simple from my perspective and as such I agree with Rand.
I recently commented on a post on another site. The authors website had a decent DA and PA but here he was bleating on about how Google was wrecking his good work and his followers, lets call them his flock (sheep) were all back slapping him and crying into their proverbial drinks that Google had just caused their respective sites to tank blah, blah, blah. Anyhow, I decided, first to rate his site on OpenSiteExplorer.org and then just look at his site. As mentioned, the authority seemed good but the readers first experience was a pop up which offered a 5000 backlinks for $10!!!
It's no longer rocket surgery. A vast swathe of so called SEOers are going to find that they no longer have the ability to swindle results
I'm not going to go down the road of giving the SEO community a kicking but in every war there are casualties.
I imagine for some people my remarks will be as welcome as a bucket of sick and it is not my intention to annoy but if I do annoy you then I think that maybe it is your guilt whcih causes the reaction?
Just some thoughts!
Paul
Thanks Randfish for sharing this important video with us. It's really useful for me.
I think content is not the king, welcome to the republic of links.
Losts of webpages with horrible or none content are at the top while others with high quality and unique content are not.
Why? Because of links, and also +1 in Google+.
@Abel,
I think you need to question page 1 content values. Create something current with keyword content adjustments. Update your blog and make sure that google has a reason to visit other than historical legacy and if you still have an issue I would be surprised. You are right about links but I can promise you this, Google loves fresh current content as much as links.
There is something I don't understand here.
We're talking about Google penalizing sites that have been manipulating by buying links, right? Who is to say that Google will not consider, say a legitimate directory X as "manipulative" one day and start penalizing sites on there? And, what if a legitimate site today, is sold to another company and then they decide to sell links, and Google penalize your site because you are on there while you had no idea when they started selling links. Just take a look at the directory list on here (Seomoz), it has a bunch of penalized directories too. Possibly legitimate once but not anymore.
And I have to agree with Jasarrow's comment. I still see a load of sites ranking for pretty much all the words we target where they have all the keywords along with their derivatives spammed all over their pages, including the ugly footer links Rand Fishkin pointed out to couple of weeks ago.
I too was waiting for this short explanation of the influence of the Penguin update. It's great that you point out that it does not seem to improve search quality, this is something I noticed as well. Spammy results do not necessarily provide bad results, even though they often times do.
I think the most annoying thing about this update is once again Google's lack of transparency and consistency.
We have not seen any client sites affected by the update, but it's obvious that a significant number of sites have been hit. However, when i look at a site thats ranking top for a keyword we're monitoring, and they mention the main keyword multiple times in the title and literally hundreds of times (no exageration) in the page's content, alongside a fairly spammy link profile (mainly comment links) - it makes me wonder if Google have got this one wrong???
It seems Google Penguins are dancing on the minds of SEO firms. Lol
Let's say I decide to diversify my anchor texts. However, could I still build anchor-heavy keywords on very good sites (like guest blog posts) and then use less valuable links like blog comments to diversify? Do you think say a PR7 link with anchor text requires 1,000 guest blog comments with diverse anchor text?
Edit: I realise it's very hard to answert this - just curious if anyone has any examples/data for this.
Spamming links is bad yes but I don't think you will see often google punishing the sites for it. As you said the sites dropping down a bit are ones where the links have been devalued. I think the biggest part of the update is websites trying too hard to optimize the on-site SEO.
The one thing about link schemes is you go see people complaining on google webmasters and most of them have a page sitting somewhere with over 50 do-follow links pointing to random sites or in the footer you see 10 - 15 do-follow links sitting there. 80% of the complainers say they have not been doing any bad link schemes but really they have. ;)
I like the updates, I think it will be for the best in the long run!
+1 Jon me 2 agree withit..nice updates..It will check for quality sites hope so
This really creates a great business opportunity for negative SEOs, I actually already had a few offers from them to "take care of" my competitors, I don't know how they got my email
Gentlemen, I am small fish close to all of you! But we agree on one point - who does not miss working with Google? Who can say with conviction the path to success when it comes to baby Google? For more PEOPLE to come and think about some topic, what matters is to raise suspicions, as a human being ever the earth will be able to speak with the certainty of the seeker's own engineers. I love the SEOmoz and Rand! I speak here of Brazil, a country that is SEO too!
Dear sir My name is Javid and I launched my site about 8 months ago. (www.apam.ir) We started with 30 articles in a day and we have 7thousands of them by now. Lately (about first of April) I have read in some websites and weblogs that if you make the tags No index you will obtain much better traffic from Google, so with Robot and No index tags I removed our tags. It was about April 20 that there were no tags from our site in Google anymore. Then about 2 days later our visit and ranking fell down suddenly. I also took a few photos that show our decline in visiting in April 25 and April 26. And there were no change in this situation for about one month, for instance we publish an article for the first time and after some hours the other websites which copied our article get a better ranking than us and apparently all of our input is from Google images. We faced a great fell in word searching either. Now here is the question, what can I do with this? Is it happened because of making No index all of the tags in my site? Is it happen because of Google Penguin? We had about 10 thousands tags that were removed from Google even though it is normal to have so many tags in Persian websites. I have sent a revised form but it is not answered yet. Some weblogs says Matt cutts recommended to launch a new site How if I set up a new domain and take a back up from my site there? What is your suggestion for me? If you need any more information please just let me know - I added our site name in all of titles of the articles. Our content were like this before: Title But I’ve changed it to: Article Title- Title of Site And 6-7thousandsa more of these changes My traffic from Google fell to one third and most of my visits are from Google images Here is some pictures from us in Google Webmaster Tools https://www.apam.ir/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/1.png https://www.apam.ir/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/2.png https://www.apam.ir/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/3.png https://www.apam.ir/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/4.png Is it helpful to change domain and let the Google know through Google web master tools? I mean transferring all of the data to a new domain. How can I recognize what caused the problem, Google panda or tags? Is it helpful to re index tags or its better to do nothing about it? What is wrong with my article that the other sites which copied them have a better ranking from my own site? I want you to know I am very graceful about your guidance and help The problem is my ranking have fell and even my own articles which originally belongs to my site have a better ranking in sites which do copy them regularly. Some times I can’t even see the name of my site in the first page What have caused the problem with my site and its ranking fell, is it Penguin or removing so many tags from it? I want to know if changing the title of 6thousands article have made the problem accorded. When our ranking fell, we No index all of our tags and I was looking forward to gave my traffic back but it is about one months which I couldn’t see any changes. I have read in some articles and weblogs that removing tags and No index them will bring the traffic back, is that true? What do you think about chaging domain? Would it solve the problem or may not do an help. Do I have to begin from start in a new domain or it is possible to transfer all the data there. Which one do you recommended please help me Yours Sincerely Javid www.apam.ir
Rand, i really appreciate your sharp observation, every time after reading your post i thought why i can't see all those points which you easily observe.
I always love to see or read your article Rand whether others too. As you describe each and everything really fantastic and diffrent from others. I have seen video of Google Penguin update on Google + which is great and easy too understand. And i have read your stuff " how Google identify spam" as in Gmail Google is doing which i think very much important to know everyone.
Thanks for sharing
I am feeling so good reading your article. Great article thanks to sharing with us
I have a client whose principal competitor uses some (somewhat) grey hat tactics.
I refer to article directories and once-legit blogs I suspect rival SEOS of having acquired and corrupted. But the competitor also uses many perfectly above board tactics that conform completely to the Google webmaster guidelines. So the competitor's overall link profile is not horrendous.
For over a year, I have been frustrated to be edged out by the competitor. I kept waiting for the turnaround. It looks like it's finally happened. And I'm immensley gratified.
So I disagree completely that Google's belated action in enforcing its own guidelines is somehow damaging its brand reputation Seems to me the opposite is true
Suppose I add keyword link in clients websites then that would be treated as link Spam? In the eye of Google those keywords links are spam links.I am confused about that?
One of my site was grabbed by the penguin (traffic dropped on the penguin day). It slipped to 4th position. When i started to blog, i didn't know much about good seo practices. My blog had a lot of posts that had nofollow links to trusted sites like wikipedia. I changed all of them to dofollow. And after some days, my blog totally disappeared. No sign of it anywhere in google. Is it a penalty of some kind? Or is it related to penguin?
In case this may help anyone. My experience with penguin is that, yes, it exact anchor text has a negative impact, which if controlled by you can be fixed, and rankings return... thoguh not sure if totally yet.
However, what i have found more strange is that overall traffic has dropped for keywords where we are stable, so no penguin update... why? Google occupies higher space in the Serp with advertising, which is by the way not perceived as advertising since the colour to highlight these is almost white.... Might be a coincidence or not, but maybe google introduces changes in their advertising policy at the same time as updates like penguin.... or just a coincidence this time
I'm trying to understand why it's necessary to remove "bad" links. I mean if the links have been de-valued by Penguin, they don't count in terms of rankings right?
Hey Rand,
First of all thank you for your views on Penguin. I was waiting eagerly to hear something about Penguin.
Some of the websites hit by Penguin update and we notice rank drop.
We never use any kind of spammy or nunatural link startergy for backlinking as you clearly mentioned in your video. Still we notice rank drops! So Idid some case study on the following website.
Sevenservicedapartments.com is one of the sites that I’m working on noticed ranking drop after Penguin update.
Sevenservicedapartments.com’s keyword ranking in Google (India) before penguin update.
Luxury serviced apartments Mumbai: 1.
Service Apartments in Mumbai: 2.
Serviced Apartments Bandra: 2.
Ranking after Penguin.
Luxury serviced apartments Mumbai: 16.
Service Apartments in Mumbai: 11.
Serviced Apartments Bandra: 8.
I after my research I found that only one keyword I was using as a anchor text in all the back link.
I really don't know which way go?
So, Rand! What do you think? Keyword is the only reason. My site got hit by Penguine
Great overview of the Penguin Update! Although the Peguin Update is NOT intended to improve quality of search result, it forces marketers and SEO's to resort to white hat tactics to avoid penalties.
On a side note, I hate to think that blackhat and negative SEO would be used on competitor's websites will take off because of this recent update!
Be interested to know to what degree you are de-tuning the keyword density vis-a-vis the SEO MOZ on page optimization. Is a grade A now bad?
Well presented video, covers the must know facts about Penguin update.. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Yes, I think we've definitely seen a backlash since Larry Page became CEO. While I'm for getting spam out, I've seen a fairly dramatic decrease in quality search results over the past year or so. I'm thinking Google is throwing the baby out with the bath water.
I've waited for this video since I've had the clearer view of Google Panda Update from this site last year. Many of SEO's Experts are still concern and confused what's this Update all about. To have a spam-free SERP's is the last thing that Spammers will wish in their entire life.
Cheers,
Tarjinder Kailey
Great video and very informative. What I have noticed with the recent Panda updates and Penguin update is that Big Box rules the serps. Google seems to be very anti small business now leading many to move to PPC.
While I agree that Google favours brands I disagree that the Penguin update was anti small businesses. A lot of small businesses may have been hit because they were buying low cost SEO services but I feel that's totally differnet from Google being anti Mom n' Pop businesses.
Awesome that you did this in the midst of your probably busy schedule Rand, thanks!
Even though I am an advocate of seeing more relevant and less spammy websites in the SERPS, the Penguin update just seems to be one of the scariest updates. From what I've read, alot of people have been hit by it wrongly and I really feel sorry for them since I've been in the same situation in the past. Believe me, there's nothing scarier than running an online business and waking up in the morning and seeing that your organic traffic is close to 0 (especially if you haven't done anything/alot wrong!).
I'm glad that Google noticed that something went wrong by putting the form online. Looking forward to what's going to happen next.
Google had to run the algorithm a 1-2 years ago. It's obviously that a lot of SEOs buying links with exact anchors from trash sites which don't have any backlinks/ranks.
Pinguin hits backlinks which point out on the keyword phrases (offseo) when keyword phrase has backlinks donors with common features such as: acnhor text of link, time of placing link, type of site, sites' ranks, type of content etc. Briefly, Machine learning :)
One year ago i submited my site to around 50 not so great webdirectories just because my competion were in there (stupid move) . On 24 th i have been hit by Penguin . After 2 days i start removing these and with some efforts i manage to get remove almoust all links. I also fiind some duplicate content issues on my site and fixed those+ complete the "hit by mistake" form.
What should i do next ? Wait, fill a reconsideration request or ... ?
I'd start by getting some high quality links to "make up" for the no-so-great ones.
And really? Was it only 50 directories? Did you have many other links to your site?
Yes only around 50 directories - problem is that some webmasters own like 5-6 of them and all hosted on same ip. I think that looked like a link network to Google. Anyway those links are removed but Google still has in cache the old pages.
I have links from around 200 domains (including those 50) : guests posts, some sidebar links from decent blogs, article sites and resource pages. There are also 3-4 links from articles submission and some link exchanges (i nofollowed those on my site after Penguin).
Keep us posted on what happens- there is still a big debate on weather the Penguin is fixated on poor/bad links or onsite 'over-optimization'.. (or both??)
If i make it back i will right a post for SeoMoz with the whole history.
Post deleted-
Dear Rand,
Great video and imporant points you have shared with us. I appreciate your work on penguine update...
Is there any reason not to show video on SEOmoz blog?
Hi Rand, thanks for the informative video, was really insightful.
I think my website is also hit by this Penguin update, but I wasn't involved in any kind of Grey or Blackhat SEO practices till now. But yes my site has some affiliate links to merchant sites and also I have few links pointing to it from Web Directories, are they counted as negative factors by Google? Also I noticed that there are many links pointing to my site that I haven't created. Could that be a reason too? Awaiting your response.
Thanks in advance,
Deepak Eapen.
Hello Rand,
Awesome Post. It is very useful for me. But i want to know some thing different from this post. I want to know that how many backlinks i can make for a website in a day? I don't want to get penality from "Over Optimization".
One thing more, is same class c ip websites are harmful for seo?
Awaiting For Your Response!!
Thanks.
Hi there,
Google dowgraded my site around the 25th April for 3-4 keywords I was ranking top position meaning my site is pretty much dead not generating leads anymore.
I didn't receive any warning on Google Webmaster. All I can see is that we posted a comment on a site that gave us over 3000 links back which stand out a lot from other sites (next one below gave us only 80 links back).
I contacted the admin for this site to get rid of this comment but didn't get any response.
Could it be why we have been downgraded? What if the site owner does not remove the comment? What can we do about it? Should we file for reconsideration?
Kind regards
Marc
hello Rand,
Thanks for sharing this video and links.. it was great to hear from you about penguin as i am waiting to hear from you on this..
What my conceren is if google has already stoped to give priorities to those law quality links then why google still sending notice in webmaster to remove those links and submit site for reconsideration.
Is there any harm to send site for reconsideration to google?
Can it not simply be that Google is trying to separate link building spam versus one site optimization spam? If it's true that you see a lot of spam sites in the number one results than this means this is a win for Google. Does anyone have any examples?
Let me elaborate. Google wants to improve the quality of search. If the penguin update did or did not focused on this is debatable and I think a more a point of view. But the point of view of Rand is interesting and I think not false. Speaking for myself: if we look at the goal we all think of hope it is the same, but our viewpoint focus is different because of own interpretation. But again I think we all can agree that the long term end result is or should be the same: improving quality of search over the long term.
But again if it's true that you see a lot of spam site ranking high. Google is getting a very good view of these site and the techniques they use. This way the analyze themselves and attack the problem head one. So in a sence they are creating their own list of spam sites and seeing the way they manipulate the search engines. It’s a cheap and easy way to create your own beta testers J So personally I think what they did with this update was pretty clever.
The second good thing. Google also gets a lits of sites that may have gotten wrong fully hit and improve on their link value versus on site optimization algorithm (a part of Panda may be). Again pretty clever if you want to improve your software you have to split it up in individual chunks and see how they react.
WHy you didn't post video over here in this blog its a new technique to improve Google+ followers :)
BTW Rand as i always said you are just freakin awesome ;)
And i want to ask one thing here, if we will use Branded keywords in the footer of different clients websites or company Name so it will also treat as light spam?
Rand is a link bait expert, that's for sure. Maybe we should get him some t-shirts with the text “link bait black belt” that would be cool.
But regarding your question. Take a "read" at this article: https://yoast.com/godaddy-link-building/
I think that in the future search engines will see this as a form of spam. Simply because it's so easy to abuse and does not add any value to the page. One could also question if it is good business ethics to "miss use" your customers this way. If search engine would start seeing this as spam, your business could be suffering because your clients are dropping in results. And in the process you will get a lot of bad branding.
Now if your customers are happy with your work, why not let your customers share their experience with you on their site or blog and link to you? It will probably have the same effect and maybe even more than a link in the footer. Surely form a business perspective the results will be loads better.
He totally deserve a Link Bait Black Belt tshirt!
Just searched both google and yahoo for how much to list on otcbb and google has no results related to this, while yahoo has 5 out of 10 good matches. Why is google playing around, peoples businesses and lives are at stake.
Your views are very informative. Can you clarify on the keyword stuffing in domain name,
For eg:
www.internet-marketing.com, In this we are using the keyword as domain name. Will the penguin update affect these kind of sites? will this be considered as a factors for selecting over optimized sites by Google?
It will be really helpful if You could kindly clarify.
Thanks!
Never seen so much garbage in SERPs. The sacrifice is too high, the goal - too far away to be described.
Same thing I am thinking, How far away is Google from cleaning all our spam from SERPs? Are we almost there? Watching todays video seems we have a long way to go...
Hi Rand,
Awesome post, your explanation is too good in this whiteborad+ post. thumbs up :).
hey jim i am also thinking abou this C class IP.
"One thing more, is same class c ip websites are harmful for seo?" by: Jim_Anderson
Thanks for this post and also thanks in advance for awaiting for your response about C Class Ip.
Hi Rand,
Nice WBF+ in the middle of the week. I agree with all the points except 4th one. Lot of people is defining Penguin Update and I have followed them as well. Use of different city names is I think good practice. Use of those type of keywords means you are targeting little geographical area and Google will be pleased by that. It is also good to balance the backlink chart. You can build few links with city name which also reduces the percentage of exact match anchor text links as well. You will get benefit from Google places as well if you target particular area. That is what I think. I would love to here you on the same.
Thanks!!!
This video explains everything you need to know about Penguin update. There is just too much bluff going around that is making new SEO people even more nervous about their future, which they shouldn’t be at least according to me.
Great Video! I always appreciate the insights that you provide us, it really helps in a time of need, and most of us have takes some hit from the infamous Penguin update.
Zach
Your views were missing about the Penguin update, am glad we finally have something to hear from you about the Penguin Update. Your views are always correct, valid and more than everything else refreshing and intersting.
While I appreciate the very kind words, I'd probably advise everyone to merely look at my opinions and input as one perspective. There's lots of smart folks out there writing good stuff on this:
And I'd be worried if anyone merely took my position as gospel! :-)
Thanks for the info Rand you are a life saver man. I had more but must get on a pane now. All the best, Tom
Very nice and informative resources, Rand! I ve been through most of them, and will read the rest of them now, but its a great collection for everyone.
