The creation and promulgation of the SEO tools here has led to many people noting that the results returned by the tools are often different from the results they see. This problem can be pinpointed to the datacenter at Google that is being used to get the results.
It turns out that people all over the world and those just a computer away receive different results from Google for the same search all the time. This is primarily due to datacenter fluctuations and which center your computer is connecting to.
A WebMasterWorld thread entitled Different serps from 2 PCs on same network goes into detail about how this phenomenon occurs. Our development team, meanwhile is currently searching for a solution that will help make results more homogenous for our users.

Exactly mate, what I'm doing now.
Ehh)) It's so nostalgic to read posts from far far 2005's ;)
Yes, this is a big problem for seo
Well written @Rank. I am totally agree with you. In my point of view, Google gives the best result. The others like Bing and Yahoo giving result differ from google.
One More thing i'd like to add here, If you are loged in in Gmail than u will get different results from when you are logged out..
This may be case with you too..
Couldn't this also be that perhaps the tools poeple use are different, even though they were built to serve the same function?
It's not only about the tools, it's often related to the conected server. If you are using a google acount your search information is going to be stored and you will recive more website and thing relevant to your past searches.
Same thing if you don't have a google account. Information is stored based on your IP or on your pc cookies and stuff.
