Google still Hasn't Solved the Canonical Issue

I thought this was fascinating (note the screenshot). Someone tried adding the SEOmoz feed to their personalized Google page and found that Google was instead trying to pull data from socengine.com/seo - which is where SEOmoz was hosted until 3 months ago. The domain re-directs via 301, as does the feed, but Google still hasn't caught on, apparently...

The problem seemed to occur when I tried to feed google a malformed XML document. It's as if since it couldn't parse the document it tried to revert to an old source.
